Same thing happened to my friend today. He wasn't able to stop the machine, and he lost his life before someone found him. Left behind a wife with 6 children. And a new baby expected any day now. Rexburg, Idaho. I'm thankful this young man survived.

You are so strong! And very Handsome as well... mind over matter! I was always told. You can still do things how you did. Some men have all their limbs. And still can not do nothing! I'm proud of you that you never gave up! Keep on pushing!

Wish I could walk as well as him. I'm 3 and a half years in and still trying. I kept having probs with my prosthetic but it's fixed and hopefully now I'll get to my best!
You need a good prosthetist who can make changes and fittings reasonably quickly so you don't lose momentum and fitness while you wait 🙂

Exactly. I lost my leg blow the knee due to an infection from a cut from a farm injury. Everything happened so fast that day, I barely remember it. I remember the surgeon telling me I would lose my foot but woke up with it gone to 10 inches below the knee. I also am back to farming full time and like him I can do.99% of what I did before. It took being creative to do a few things at first. The first rule is never give up!

Dangers are everywhere; I almost killed or lost my 2 arms when I worked in a Plastic making factory in Sydney 48 years ago; luckily a Russian Electrician pushed me out of a very high voltage plant/machine or I would have been sucked into that m/c dead or lost both arms due to the high voltage passing through the body. Living is very hard work indeed; no winging; no complaining; every day is a new challenge; It is my MOTTO. Cheers LDB AUS
