the game is so big that in a normal speedrun like super mario bros a 0.5 time save would be so big and in this game a 4 hour time save is good just shows to prove how gigantic this game is.
When I finished all of the missions it only said like 71% or something because I didn't understand that the collectibles and all of the other side stuff counted towards the %
Just bought at Steam Summer sale, and loving the game so far. Watching this run made me more curious to not only finish it, but to 100% and maybe plat it too!

I would just like to thank you for the amazing work here, because this is a perfect outline for a 100% playthrough I can do at my own pace for that trophy. I can't imagine the dedication a 35 hr speedrun takes, but I can imagine the 350 hr version I'm about to start for my trophies

Bandit 3 is such a trash, last time I almost robbed every stall in the map simply because it doesn't count towards the challenge due to some glitches. The safest way is probably wait until the store owner to open the counter, any action by the play might cause it to fail to register lmao
Don't know if you're still on this run, but I can tell from my perhaps 500 hours of solo : you don't have to dismount to inspect dreamcatchers and the easiest and fastest way to skip the skinning animation is to place your horse facing the belly of dead animals, between the legs
@@HessSR Also, by holding d-pad down for a second or two, you can set the minimap to expanded, which makes it constantly almost as big as when tapping down.

Tried 100% but got to 92 before I couldn’t continue, this is my fav game in the world so thanks for this. (Btw Dutch’s horse is an albino rose grey bay Arabian. same stats as the rose gray bay Arabian and when you study his horse it says the coat is albino)

Thx! Nah those things are not necessary for 100%. There’s a checklist in the game’s progress menu or just google RDR2 100% completion checklist. There’s a lot of stuff to do, but there’s a lot you don’t need to.
I beat the entire game including all side content, epilogues, collectibles, trophies, all possible random encounters; and I did this in 23 minutes. I defy even God to beat that.
Hey maybe it could be too late bc you know since it’s been 4 months and you’ve prolly restarted another run BUT, you do know you can craft ammo on a horse right? It needs to be at walking speed, but it’s better than standing still, and you can just ride it instead of getting back on it again, hopefully I helped

Brandon _37 depends on what game and who moderates it. Since I moderate RDR2 I chose that breaks were allowed. Breaks are generally allowed in rly long 100% runs like botw/rdr2 but it’s different from game to game
Just curiosity some people have different definitions for 100% what’s all included in speedrun cause I don’t think you’ll be running around picking up unique hats or weapons

I don't exactly remember my mindset at launch but i thought it would be interesting to speedrun it, especially cus it's such a long game. And then ever since then i've been interested in beating my times and getting new timesaves like when they announced fast travel og when we find new strats and stuff. I'm probably taking a long break from RDR2 now but it's been a cool journey

HessSR I’m not sure either I know PlayStation makes one specifically for being able to use on pc but I think it’s like 50$
Google says if your pc supports Bluetooth you can connect it that way too
