I just love how Sir Capon and Henry became best buds.
The most bitter rivalry can blossom into the most lasting bond.
I don't think they are true friends. I don't see how they can be. Henry has grown into a man and Capon is still a little boy.
@@valkyriesardo278 story wise and “historically” Henry is no older then 17, For legal reasons he and sir Hans (Who historically is only 15 in 1403) are portrayed and mentioned as being significantly older then they actually would have been at the time
Hans Capon is Henry's boy
I think it is wonderfully written dialogue when you start out the hunt. I knew something was different when Hans apologizes without any prompting for his behavoir.
Even if it is silly, I really, really want a party scene with Hans, Godwin and Henry.
“I’m sorry husband”
“For what”
*Henry sweats nervously*
I really thought that hoe was gonna snitch on my boy henry there for a second
I thought the very same when she said that 😂😂😂
*Maybe the real Kingdom was the friends we made along the way*
Underrated comment
Henry is such a great character, the story might have been a bit predictable but damn the character development in this game was incredible, I loved every moment of it and I feel empty now that I finally finished it.
Cant wait for Kingdom Come Deliverance episode 2.
All the characters are amazing. Hans Capon is hilarious and Radzig is one of my favourite characters too
i like more Hanus
@@wolftooth123 how long do we have to wait bruhh
@@bakontriangles6497 I think you know the answer to that question now.
The part where Henry talks to Martins spirit made me tear up lol
Dont go...
Me too I also miss my dad
Best damn game ever!!
It got to me when his mum appeared.
That was well done. Martin said the one thing I think every child most longs to hear, "I am proud of you"
He absolved Henry of his shame over his less than noble deeds and his guilt about the sword.
And Martin even acknowledged Kobyla's role in Henry's future with no trace of resentment.
I dont think I ever felt such satisfaction from a trebuchet in a movie let alone game.
KCD2: Henry Kobyla & Hans Capon's Bizarre Adventure
true
Maybe Radzig plans to present the sword he commissioned from Martin to Henry then tell him of his origin when he ordered the latter to bring the sword after finishing the final touch if not the attack of Skalitz happened.
Someone once commented that Radzig planned to have Henry squire for Capon and when he’s knighted everything will be revealed and he’ll be legitimized.
No. Not during Skalitz. Martin wanted a useful trade and a peaceful life for his son. Radzig would not have opposed Martin's wishes. Nor would he have revealed any secrets to Henry without Martin's consent. Radzig owed Martin that much and the blacksmith had earned that respect. Right when the cuman attack began, Martin sent Henry directly to Radzig knowing Kobyla would be his best protection.
i love how this game ends. feels like an 80s action movie endings
good times
The ending was so emotional 😭
"It won't be long in coming..." Seems like a year from now we will be able to see the story's coclusion. It's been a long time, but I cannot wait.
I would say like 5 years from now lol
well.... Let's hope for a trailer early next year, shall we?
@@feuerklinge9004any day now
We’ve got a trailer now
@@rawpotatofella9654 We know, we're not all stuck living a year in the past from this comment
Appreciate the recap. I forgot all of this after learning we're getting news of a sequel in April.
Wine, women, and the hunt? Okay so the former king was Robert Baratheon
I've just realized!
I'm going Off-topic by the way.
Sir Radzig Kobyla and Captain Miller from Arma 3 has the same voice actor Mitchell Pittman.
Old sir divish kicking ass
15:15
I like to think Henry was actually visited by his parents in his dream and now they’ve been reunited for 600 years
I was confused when I got to the ending. Do you not get to find the man who killed your family? I just have the quest "Vengence" and I don't know if its just supposed to leave off as a cliff hanger for more content in the future?
That mission is for episode 2 in the future I think. You dont get your sword back and cant get revenge either in this game.
poisonousmushrooms well the game was supposed to be cut into 3 acts, they combined act 1 and 2 which is why we have this, act III might come along later (9 months as of what I heard)
kcd 2? when?
@@wolftooth123 Well the sword was partially explained that its just a sword and It does not matter much. Henrys legecy is to carry the torch and search for vengance and the sword not only put him in danger and but also put in danger others. Swallowing his pride was part of maturing process and as radzig explained the life is about the little joys green grass blue sky and horse saddle beneath you. Henry would have passed through life being consumed by search for sword and revenge. It was great ending closing that sometimes thegoal we set out in the begining was wrong from the start and that sometimes we search for something that does not do good to us in anyway.
Henry had to let the sword go with exchange of Radzig and Stephanies life. That was the ending that sometimes you have to sacrifice your goal for something more important.
Yes you didnt get the sword but you got sir Radzig and Lady Stephany alive seems like everyone missed the point of the ending.
@@17MrLeon
Such thoughts put one in mind of the expression "live by the sword, die by the sword", but in those times if you did not live with a sword, you could die without one. I do like how Divish and Hanush seem to be in cahoots with Radzig when it comes to opening doors for Henry. He is granted opportunity for advancement that would not come to any ordinary peasant. Those other two lords are very much like fairy godfathers which makes that little episode with Stephanie most unfortunate. I am inclined to think Henry was neither her first indiscretion nor her last. Good gracious, what if she turns up pregnant?
To be honest i thought the main cast of Nobles in this would be assholes. Most of them turned out quite agreeable to my surprise.
I wonder if the game continues until Sir Radzig's death and Henry's reaction to it.
Something to note is that Sir Radzig states that the reason he had Henry is because he was young, and couldn't marry a commoner. Notice that Henry is also young at the moment, and "it happened" with Theresa. But since you will (most likely) become nobility, you can't marry Theresa.
See a possible repeat?
@@Bannerlordfor Damn, they could make 20 sequals and it will never become boring.
@@alexschmidt443 it’s the same story repeated too lmao
If the game is to continue its history, Sir Radzig gets tortured to death a few months after this scene, also the holy crusade happens a year after this and the Ottermans defeat the crusaders. Henry’s kingdom is decimated shortly after the holy crusade by the crusaders. So if they continue the series further, eventually you’ll have to play as another character and not Henry, unless Henry just swap sides.
@@Unchainedful Bro what? This is Bohemia not Hungary. The Ottomans don’t make it this far and Sigusmund continues to fight Bohemian nobles and then later Hussite peasants.
You are right that Radzig dies but he dies to the Hussites (Historically documented). Which could be a very interesting thing since then Henry will have a decision on either to join Jan Zizka and the Hussites - which appeals to his peasant upbringing and aspirations for a free Bohemia. Or side with Sigusmund, his historical adversary that took everything else from him but didn’t kill his father.
Although these events would be a decade after the game so I don’t properly know if they will be mentioned.
Edit: It should be mentioned that after the raid of Skalitz Radzig loses ownership of the fiefdom and is given ownership of a different estate by Wenceslaus. Skalitz would be rebuilt but not by Radzig. I guess, best case scenario Henry may be given ownership of Prybislavitz or just become a notable floating around in Lepia.
Best story game ever.
Don't forget priest Edwin scenes☺️ omg what a clip

@@17MrLeon OH right thank u
That and the amorous adventures of Capon. That had me dying
Whose here after the KCD 2 Announcement?
"I don't feel it will be long in coming!"
It's been 6 fucking years.
very nice!! thx!!
Capon is a true bro!👑
With the Second game being made this year.
I better be able to duel Istvan.
There is one bit of silliness in the end game. Capon urges Henry to ride out with him to Skalitz so Radzig won't have to walk back on foot. So why is it that they do not bring an extra horse? Kobyla rides to Skalitz on horseback and Toth's men do confiscate his horse.
Either they were lacking in available horses that could keep up with the ones in pursuit, or, more likely, the guy who'd be needed to tow the extra, riderless, horse would be slower than the whole group.
Plus, thr chase was sort of rushed since they needed to catch them before they fully disappeared past Skalitz. Again, planning went partially out the window.
Damn I almost having a stroke with that thumbnail
You edited out most of the ride at the end?
Henry is quite hungry for vengence
I'm just wondering, how old is Radzig? He looks like he is like 40-42 and Henry is easily 25.
He sure got busy early.
he did say they were both young
@@brendonv7917 young can mean a lot. everything between 16-25.
@@bluntlyhonest6803 Well he could be even 14 or less. Remember that in middle ages womens got married as soon as possible and at age of 16 there often were mothers already
Racek Kobyla was about 53 in 1403 as he was born in 1350. He died in 1416.
What happens after you see the end. Can you still play in the map after that?
yes you can load previous saves
Henry does not end the game until he rides off into the sunset with Capon. I'm not going to cross that border on my first run, not until my second run is at least far along in the game. I may want to check something with my level 20 Henry so I want to ensure he has full access.
Hope they have a 2nd one
I'll fault the story in only one respect. It has to do with the reveal on Henry's origins. We weren't given quite enough insight into Henry's decision to accept the news. He had no opportunity to ask questions. And Radzig never said much beyond "well, it happened"
Henry was a boy then turned into a man
Audentes Fortuna Iuvat!
Only real mfs know where they got Lichtenstein from for air John of Lichtenstein
they probably planned a sequel, but since the reception is not that great they decided to not make one
It’s under development
What? The game was very a well received. Literally the opposite of what you said.
"the reception is not that great" just because a few SJWs got pissy about the game being historically accurate doesn't mean normal people didn't like it.
HOW BRUH I LOVE THIS GAME AND ALL I SEE IS GOOD REVIEWS SO WHATTTT??
Bruh what reception lol this game is amazing
Wait there's going to be a second game??
It sure will. I think they are developing the second game now after the last DLC was released.
@@wolftooth123 Yay! 🥳
@@wolftooth123 yeah the ending was complete but epilogue opened up new storyline so yes there must be sequel.
@@joshygaminghub7428 I hope so
Still hope so....
Why did you wear that ridiculous bandit "scarf" lol ! ^^
No matter how shiny is the armor....with that, you look like a filthy peasant (especially in the cutscenes with the other lords).
To me it looks like a very good symbolism of sorts, Henry starts out as pretty much a nobody(a peasant as you call them) then as you progress through the game his significance increases substantially.
Really dissapointing ending, nothing got resolved, and the entire plot exists to setup a sequel. I do love this game and am excited for a sequel but this is NOT how you end a 40 hour long story.
lmao says the guy who has a witcher profile picture
@@bombingbarrett4813 Your point?
@@Dm16509 Witcher 1 and 2 also ended on cliffhangers. The whole amnesia plot of the Witcher 2 was just to introduce Yennefer and Ciri in the next game cuz they fucked up by making Triss a discount version of Yennefer in Witcher 1.
@@bombingbarrett4813 But they also resolved their plots. You did face off against Letho at the end of Witcher 2, And you caught Salamandra in Witcher 1. You can setup sequels while still resolving the plot in a story. The MCU does this every fucking movie. But this ending resolved NOTHING. Istvan is still out there, you didn't get your sword, and then they try and setup another plot point with Margrave Jobst at the end. They could have resolved the main plot, then still setup another game.
They didn't defeat Sauron at the end of Fellowship of the Ring either, so what? Since the story is based on real history, they're sort of limited with what they can do. And we did get some resolution. KCD is all about Henry's coming of age and growth into manhood. He gains respect, legitimizes himself in the eyes of his Lords, and discovers the truth of his parentage. The game ends rather poignantly with Henry learning a lesson and being forced to accept that sometimes in war compromises and difficult choices must be made. His duties as a man-at-arms and loyalty to his liege are ultimately more important than his own personal conflict over the sword. That's a whole lot more interesting that some cliched final battle and happily ever after nonsense.
I found the ending to be rather disappointing personally
Scott Richards I heard that after 9 months there might be an Act II or III. Not quite sure though
It has not been confirmed if the continuation will be in a form of DLC when we have a roadmap now, or in a standalone game. Since the game was supposed to have three acts and it grew bigger connecting first and second one I guess the third one will be a sequel. I kind of like the ending actually. Klima mentioned in an interview, that sometimes you don't get satisfying outcome when you are finally able to do something (in this case punish your parents' murderer after being dragged by everything and everyone through the whole game) and that he finds this ending refreshing. I agree.
@@erroltan1743 I come from the future, this is unfortunately not true
@@Bruh-uf4et sadly
I dont understand why so many people didnt get the ending. I thought it was great.
Wtf is sir Razdig gay?
No, Sir Razdig is Henry's biology father.
But Toth and Erik (the guy we caught in the video 01:44 ) are gay lovers.
This ending was beyond bullshit. If they make us pay for the dlc to complete the main quest, I will lose my fucking shit
well...
ehh
As a Hungarian, it's insulting that the game describes Hungary as "savage lands" just a few decades later Hungary will be the first nation to embrace the Renaissance outside Italy, but in the game Hungary is just "the savage land". Those czech bastards really show their bias, aren't they.
You know the game is told from the perspective of a Czech peasant right? To Henry and the rest of the cast, the Hungarian Cumans *are* savages. They speak a different language, wear strange armor, and came to wage war. The game is true to the time, and very few of the characters are likely to take a nuanced view on the subject. Hell, in the prologue Henry and his friends throw manure at a neighbor’s house in part because of his German heritage
@@anortalot You know that Henry quickly became a Knight and then a noble, right? This video show us the very end of the game. Henry should know better. Also the "peasant perspective" argoumen doesn't hold ground for the rest of the people in the sceen (you know, the ones that born noble).
@@JozsefPocsiHenry “””””Becomes”””” a noble at the very end of the game, so it’s not like he’s been steeped in a lifetime cultural education. Otherwise all the nobility’s animosity toward Hungary really seems to be directed toward the Cumans in particular
@@anortalot Are you saying that Henry can learn how to read but unable to lern history? Also Cuman aren't Hungarians any hate towards them should not affect their opinion about Hungary.
Grow up, you big fucking wet blanket 🤓
