Another great video , good company and it was great to see a comparison of the Rally 300 and 450 L , Nice
Thanks mate! Two different worlds the bikes, but both will do pretty much the same thing. Cheers 😎👍
Another great video Phil. If only Honda would make the bike we all want. Light, comfy, red, fast and easy to maintain.
Cheers Geoff. I think Honda will - eventually, simply because other brands will beat them too it. Fingers crossed anyway. Catch ya 👍
Great trip mate , I spend a lot of time out there .but you missed Lara's lagoon 😂
Hi Tod, I seen a few kids swimming up there. So I'll check it out properly next time. Cheers mate 🍻
Great trip and correct on mixing the 2 bikes....little lower on 1st and change 6th to a true overdrive...little work in between and tweak the ECU...bingo....ktm slayer.
Ahhhh how good is wild bull fantastic little swimming holes, dad and I didn’t go in when we were there though middle of winter😅🥶another great vid Phil👌
I'd been to Wild Bull (once) and thought it was pretty cool. But The Bluff is next level, Curt 😎👌
Enjoying the regular uploads mate haha!!😎 wild bull is a beautiful spot I’ve camped down that “wild little road” down on the right after leaving the campground, bloody awesome spot!
Might have to go back and camp the bluff never too many people around either👌
Thanks for the vid Phil! Catch ya soon on a hike to the base of Birch🤙
Hi Sam! Yeah Birch Falls base walk is on the list with ya. Will keep you posted and let you know when I'm considering it. Catch ya 😎
Great video once again , a fellow rally owner , also with one eye on the 450 RL, the oil changes for adventure riding could be pushed to 2500 km maybe …there’s a vacuum sucker device they sell that empty’s the oil out of bikes without having to undo the sump plug ect .
That would make the oil change pretty easy .
Have kept the 300 rally in stock form with over 2500 kms on the clock , love it.
Cool with the vacuum idea! Oil changers are pretty damned simple, and relatively inexpensive if you buy bulk lots of oil. And yep, I'd push it to say 2000 kays per change (I've done every 4000 k with the Rally). That seems the only slight disadvantage from the very short run I had. The rest was wow! Like I said, was like a super light DR650, but with proper suspension and better fuel economy. I'd own one 👍
What an awesome spot. I love how clear and deep that water is. Would be a nice spot to camp and chill for a few days.
I'll have to camp there one day Bogor, but my list of spots I want to visit seems endless...lol Catch ya mate 👍
Excellent Phil, that was fantastic to watch. I can remember when they were building the bridge at the bluff, they found a big ass death adder. " The Bluff" and "wild bull" camping areas were built by the forestry commission and university students doing some eco courses. They camped out at Cameron's camp and the old North Wilson forestry camp while working, I think they did a great job back in the mid 70's. Thanks mate I love your videos👍👍
Damn Neil, love your local history lessons - thanks mate! Glad you've done and seen so much mate, seems you've lived a great life 😎🙏. Catch ya mate 👍
I think the new CF Moto 450 MT will trump anything Honda put out at a fraction of the price to be honest. Twin cylinder 450 will be great on KYB suspension. Always been a Honda fan though.
Love the vids. It’s my weekly UA-cam session I can’t miss as a Mid North Coast resident.
A mate is planning on getting the CF Moto 450, will be interesting to see his thoughts. Looks a good mix of on and off-road performance 👍 Cheers mate 🍻
Phil if you get a 550 Performance stage 1 flash you'll be very satisfied. You have the exhaust just need high flow air filter and the Rally just runs perfect! It's the missing link!
Hmmm, got me thinking now Jimmy...lol I've heard good things about the 550 installs. Cheers for the info - though it may cost me 😂👍
Nicely done Phil (and Neil). I love the ride up to Wild Bull so enjoyed reliving it through your video.
Nice
Thanks Steve 👍
Great vid Phil the camp sites were amazing especially the second one ⛺️ cheers 🍺👍
The second one blew me away - simply perfect 👍
Great video Phil, when was it you were out there? I was out there on Saturday just gone but unfortunately didn’t see you. Bobs Ridge Rd is open from the Bluff through to Upper Rollins Plains Rd, I drove it (4wd) Feb 2023
Hi Matthew, was out there's on Wednesday. Nice and quiet mid-week. Flag me down if you see me one day. Ah, and good to know Bob's Ridge Road is drivable - thanks mate 😎👍
Another top ride. 30:29
Nice trip and video again Phil Thanks.
A question if I may. With Armidale Kempsey road closed for sometime, are you aware of any similar alternative dirt roads, West to East, off the hill, please?
There's no local options from Kempsey, but Wingham up to Nowendoc is a terrific way to get up the Divide. Kempsey road is fine to use on the weekends, just not during the week days 👍
@@MidCoastAdventures Thx again Phil - sad. Closed through the week for road works I guess. I've done Nowendoc store and into Gloucester on the dirt before, after Top Rd. Yes a good run too! Happy trails Phil.
