I've watched LoL since S2 and have always supported the West. However, after seeing the gap this year and this series...just give me the top 4 LPL and LCK teams. Give the West its own mini-tournament, b/c they aren't even playing the same game.
Yea, I honestly wouldn't mind cutting all the western teams out of international events and giving them their own little participation trophy MSI. The competition would be a lot better and more fun to watch if the 4 wasted slots in LEC/LCS went to LPL/LCK instead. Maybe the western participation MSI can allocate 2 western slots to the real MSI while the east get 6 slots?
Laning phase is okay, C9/G2 were able to pull a couple great lead in early game tbh. The macro is where the West sucks. The coaching/teamfight gap is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy larger than the soloskill.
@@DD-gt9qe The problem is that the macro advantage is still only a part of the issue. While Eastern teams can gain gold advantages with it, the real gap is in teamfighting after all. You just don't see the same amount of awareness in the West. The quality of flank plays, tank spacing and ADC manuevers are just on another level in the East.
The fact that its possible for a team to end after winning a single teamfight without baron buff while the enemy t2 tower is up is ridiculous. Im hoping for some tower buffs after this MSI because the fact that it happened twice this series is worrying for the future of pro league.
it's just a huge coincidence that it happened twice you need to fight near mid have a wave and a clean ace you're usually not going 5-0 in an even game

@@TeamRocketRed And I would rather see a 3-2 than a 3-0.
If BLG managed to beat GenG and T1, does that mean the west is actually strong? Hopium
I've watched LoL since S2 and have always supported the West. However, after seeing the gap this year and this series...just give me the top 4 LPL and LCK teams. Give the West its own mini-tournament, b/c they aren't even playing the same game.
dont look it so heavily,we just watch and play the lol for fun.
I'm still rooting for LEC teams in any giving tournament, but ngl I really enjoy watching LCK/LPL teams doing insane things like that.
I hate seeing faker on these frontline tanks. He really needs to be on something that damages and zones rather than just tanking dmg and cc.
That 4v5 engage at baron is what I see in my plat elo games idk what they were thinking going for that
People always talk about how good ruler was,but I think we all forget how good the whole team was, especially Knight and 369
Knight was MVP, and I will vote 369/kanavi 2nd

Zeus is a fantastic player. But he never delivers when T1 needs him the most.
@filipe1985 that's arguable. in the other gwen game I think was fine. not in thr last one tho

Is it really arguable tho? He's consintenly gapped by the opposing Toplaner in Finals and 369 was clearly the best player today, so yeah..
@@HopefulNihilist its just Gragas curse
Lol Zeus saves t1 most of the time. Sometimes he dies sure, but he always comeback and does most dmg in teamfights. They usually leave Zeus alone and gank mid and bot a lot. T1 lost, Zeus going earlier wouldn't have saved them, hard coping. Naut played sealed the deal, t1 gambles on picking up knight or ruler but lost.

@@crimsonphoenix8907how do you know its not for him? its just draft changes as pick ban goes
@@stealthytrapper2328 Gwen was fine. Keria should've played Naut, that way he can go in together with Zeus and Oner. Zeus seems to be the only one finding a way to the backline, that's what made it seem bad but he was def doing work, the only one I should say.
@@stealthytrapper2328 nah Gwen was only reason t1 stalled as long as they did, got gapped hard.
rewatching before they meet again at worlds, lets hope it tops this series
lol, anyone blaming kindred pick in game 4 didnt watch the game i guess. The first blood wouldve completely changed the game but Oner got massively outplayed by Kanavi.
Only T1 fans can be mad that there's literally one team in the world better than theirs.
I think they're mad because T1 haters are flaming them for not being the best in the world tho. I keep seeing comments calling Faker trash or washed up or shitting on Zeus or Oner. But its crazy when you consider that they are literally playing a series to decide who is crowned "best in the world" for now. Like sure, they're doing things that are stupid and making misplays but they are also the second best time in the world playing their biggest competition who is first. This team has gone so far yet people still shit on them if they don't match up to expectations all the time.
Also sure, there are deranged T1 "fans" that are braindead and shit on their own team for not winning, but that's a different story. Most fans are probably sad to see their team miss the mark by an inch and want them to be the best. But that's just my opinion
@@harveyboi3917 Quite the opposite lol. Most of those flames you're talking about are just a reaction from T1 fans trolling every single LPL stream or co-stream. You guys are quite literally the most toxic out of all the English speaking fan bases. You'll be in regular season LPL and see random T1 fans spamming Tencent memes.
Actually Im happy that there's rival. Without JDG there is no actual rival for T1
@@damiester1 you forgot to mention t1 hater appearing every single time to bait the fans

How can that be the case when the whole community comes together to shit on the games Goat when he makes a bad play? All they had to do was make faker not play naut for 3 games.
At 1 hour and 3 minutes, look at the way MISSING moves with the nautilus ult on him. He made sure Nautilus ultimate knocked up none of his teammates

T1 vs GEN again ❤❤❤❤ this MSI is fun
The nautilius pick by Faker is the definition of insanity. Also I am not a pro player but I think towers should have more health (also nerf jinx passive ffs)
Jinx is perfectly fine. She has no escape other than galeforce and requires insane positioning. Most people can't make her work at all but Ruler is just on a different level. His spacing and positioning is nuts
@Beech Pls 1 teamfight loss at 20 minutes, even gold and still tier 2 standing shouldn't be game

Man just imagine if T1 didnt get stubborn by forcing Nautilus mid angle over and over again. Its just very stupid and stubborn. The moment you lost with a champ and a strat 2 times surely you wouldnt repeat it right? But guess what they picked it again when its game 5. I wont even be surprised by T1 opens up a Nautilus mid again when they face GenG again, Its something to expect from them since they are stubborn and doesnt learn from their mistakes.
Man, dont ever tell me fnatic couldnt have finished the game against MAD after seing T1 ending like this in game 2
faker inted so fucking hard in game 5

JDG just too good at protecting Ruler, thats a strong point of the LPL

Call me delusional, I'm a fan of T1 for 8 years now, but if Bengi or Faker or whoever decides the drafts get their shit together, they would've won JDG, not easily but they'll win. The coaching staff needs a complete rehaul, idc if Bengi is a legend of the game or whatever, but he needs to go if T1 don't win any titles this year. I wouldn't blame Keria if he decides leave T1 after this year, he deserves a better team than this bullshit, dude has to carry every game and his teammates are subpar almost every game, I genuinely feel bad for him, Zeus too in this series, he was doing so well until that Naut decided to hook everything in front of him. It's so fcking hard being a T1 supporter after 2017 I swear.
