Woah, you're back! I was literally binge watching your older videos today thinking you'd come back in another few months. Huh, how convenient! Good to see you back, Brock!
Hey, Brock! Great to see you back here again! Given the great improvements and the much more sporty nature of this new ES, like yourself and many others, I'd be willing to bet that Lexus will discontinue the GS. I have no hard facts to back that up, just a hunch. I do know that they are discontinuing the CT. Going forward, I've read in some of the auto industry publications that the only sedans that Lexus will retain are the LS, ES and IS... and, the IS may also be long in the tooth, so to speak. They cyclical nature of people's interests in the SUV/CUV's has always been based on economics. So, for now... folks are buying more of the SUV/CUV's, but we all know that this paradigm will shift once again, timing being everything. I believe the American auto manufacturer's are being very short-sighted by shuttering nearly all of their sedan production in favor of the trucks and SUV's as opposed to just cutting production back.
Heeeey, Mr. Wolf! Good to see you, my man and EXCELLENT insight - I totally agree on every point! It's really weird to see how the sedan is literally becoming a thing of the past. The morphing of the auto industry to SUV/CUV domination seem unsustainable - it's like at some point there would be no place to go with redesigns and performance upgrades of a 5 door vehicle. Additionally, since all manufacturers are electrifying in some way, will the future consist of all battery powered SUV/CUV's? Hmmmm......
@@HowToCarGuy Yeah, I have nothing against the evolution of electric vehicles, but I believe, given the very slow progress in battery range, that putting all of the auto industries eggs in one basket, so to speak, is a mistake. I would like to see an equal amount of research done in hydrogen fuel vehicles.
@@HowToCarGuy unfortunately it was forgettable. Sold 1 new car. Really interested in seeing the year sales numbers for Lexus. Going into December they were behind almost 3 percent from 2017.
Good to see you too! It's going well - thanks for asking! I do miss my UA-cam family, though! I hope you are well and that you have an amazing 2019, my friend!
I was wondering when you’d be back Brock! Not if, when. 🙂 I’ve definitely missed your videos! Funny enough, the Sedans I see the most on the road are Lexus, camrys, and my least favorite, the Prius.
Hope this doesn’t mean the end of the GS. I love my GS but wanted to see a new one. This is a sporty ES, but it won’t still ride like a rear wheel drive car.
Very true! The 2019 ES is an amazing vehicle but there's only one way to get the drive of a rear wheel car and the ES wil never go rear wheel drive. I have heard of an AWD ES coming though - how cool would that be?? What if Lexus does an AWD ES F??? Crazier things have happened... Thank you for contributing to the conversation, my friend!
Great video. You always have informative content. I have a question about the older model, 2011-2016, Lexus ES. Do they have any cars that are modified? My friend has a 2013 and it has a turbo. I'm trying to see if that's how he got it or it was modified.
@@buickguy1 Which is a stretched out Camry platform, which is based on their world platform also used on the Prius and Corolla. amazing what they can do with these modular platforms nowadays.
Thank you for the kind words and also the feedback about the music. I would be happy to adjust that for you. Please let me know in future videos about the music levels - I honestly appreciate the feedback.
That would have been awesome but traditionally FSport doesn't offer power gains - only appearance and suspension. That being said, I completely agree with you about horsepower! Thanks for stopping by and contributing to the conversation!
This car is so sexy and sexy and amazing inside outside it’s enough to say that I own a LEXUS if this car is not enough for anyone on this earth that mean get your eyes and brain checked out immediately All in one looks amazing and quality you trust reliable and resale values what ales you need. Only LEXUS can do it LEXUS only gives the best of the best non stop
Great video on the ES! Loving the Glasses too, very cool!! I made a video on the Scottish LEXUS ES Takumi edition if you would like to check it out? :)

I don't think anyone is buying this car for its performance or speed. Its a very reliable Luxury car plain and simple!
OMG! How gorgeous are you! Finally love the ES!
havent seen you in a hot second lexus is 250 2012 review?? pls
welcome back
Welcome back my friend btw it's me lynx.
This car ride so smooth and quiet

How is the speakers in the car?
My new favorite lexus..
Thx slick video
Happy new years
I love your reviews Brock! But I think I'll stick to a Camry, cheaper for nearly same features.
What age group normally would get this 2019 es350 f sport model??
How much would a slightly used one cost me at the end of the year after depreciation
Is Blind Spot Monitor system standard?
why's the belt noise so loud?
Gave your video a like too*
This is still based on the Camry platform?
It's based on the avalon platform now.

Love to see you back! Your channel reminds me much of Lexurious Kirk. You should check him out... another Lexus guru like you!
love your videos but the music is too loud
Thank you for the kind words and also the feedback about the music. I would be happy to adjust that for you. Please let me know in future videos about the music levels - I honestly appreciate the feedback.
I think they should've at least bumped up the horse power and torque to 50 more in the f sport models
That would have been awesome but traditionally FSport doesn't offer power gains - only appearance and suspension. That being said, I completely agree with you about horsepower! Thanks for stopping by and contributing to the conversation!
I hope the next GS is a little shorter than this Es 191inches is to long for a sport sedan.

I heard the new 8-speed transmission is clunky and not very smooth.
Somehow he reminds me of House. Haha
Great video on the ES! Loving the Glasses too, very cool!!

That engine sounds rough 🤔
This car looks like a pimp daddy! Lol. It won’t age well
