Thank you for your comment 👍 yes dive with wet suit but some people don't have $300 to $600 for one. Most people I know including myself started diving with no suit. I did say why I was diving like this because I had a hard gym training and there are a lot of benefits with cold water look it up. I'm all about safety first, watch all my videos. There more safety risk with wet suit than without like weight belt and stuff. If it's to cold 🥶 than don't dive 👍 thank you 🙌
If you don't know about the cold water,..it's good for the body.! Faark love you brother, ain't no better feeling when Tangaroa cools you down just to heat you back up. 1 love my brother!!
mean feed of Kina bro... You guys are hard core, no gloves no wetsuits, awesome, must have missed some of the sunshine, seemed to have left as you got into the water...
We don't have many kina spots down here in Canterbury... Just not many of out there around banks peninsula. Not like up there. Down here we got heaps of black mussels, kutai.
I’ve never been diving for kina but have the meanest cravings for kina for someone who is just starting off diving what are the things I need to know. I’m going up north for new years and wanna go foraging for my Kai
Thank you for your comment 🙏 it's good to go out with someone who has some experience diving or someone to watch you from the rocks. Check swells🌊, wind, and weather conditions are ok. If going for kina, it's a good time to go 2 / 1 hour before low tide makes it easier to gather and gives you time to look before tide starts coming in. Also, you want to look for rocks and reef structure. There should be some kina there for Gear, just mask snorkel fins gloves and maybe something to flick the kinas off because some like to stick on hard. Hope this helps 🙏 thank you and dive, Safe

Nice 👍 that's maybe a good thing because kina eats all the kelp, Big problem in Auckland.
Hey do you know any good spots around auckland for kina or crayfish?
Whangaparāoa for Kinas, crayfish have to go out of Auckland or have a boat 👍
