The Northamptonshire and Warwickshire Air Ambulance responded at 8:45am to West Road, Stratford Upon Avon today. As a Mother and two daughters were on their daily routine walking to school. Without warning one of the young girls ran out into the path of a HGV car transporter, the swift reactions of the mother removed her daughter from being directly hit by the oncoming truck, therefore putting herself in the track of the HGV. When emergency services arrived on scene, the young mum was tragically pronounced dead, it is possible she was killed instantly. The small girl was airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital with pelvic injuries, news from the hospital is that she is stable. The other daughter was unharmed.
