The Stop Susan Williams storyline was also re edited into a two hour movie, which included scenes from the last unaired segment that concluded the storyline. I hate to say this, but that really is true of every era, b/c culture is constantly in flux, but also pushing boundaries, just a bit, so each new generation accepts whatever emerges for them as _special._ I look at older vampire movies and they are more elegant and subtle, with cryptic sexuality. Now vampires make such a mess, their faces get bloody and sometimes they tear flesh. No appeal to me, but apparently some folks like it (but that's just entertainment). Other areas see more nuance. Glad you enjoyed my fan edit of this "movie," Dee. Officially, MCA Television recut the CLIFFHANGERS "Curse of Dracula" serial into 2 separate tv-movies, THE WORLD OF DRACULA and THE LOVES OF DRACULA. But WORLD burned through about two-thirds of the story (and ended at a very odd point). Since there was not enough footage left for a second full-length movie, when they cut LOVES together, they re-used a lot of footage from WORLD, heavily padding the second half of the story. That's why the pace slows down so much towards the end of my fan edit. Still, it's great to be able to share the entire storyline with fellow UA-camrs.
I remember this when it first aired on TV...I loved it...if Dracula was like Michael Nouri, he could bite me any time! Ah foolish mortals, you can't destroy Count Dracula.
At 1:12:36 I relived a memory I have had since I was a child of 8 years. I never forgot that, and never thought I'd see it again. A strange, vague memory of childhood TV. There should be at least 2 or 3 more memories to come. A lot of this show and it's over the top drama has made an indelible mark on me that I'm experiencing again.
@@redwandennaoui4508 He wouldn't have got it cause he wasn't British buddy. That's just the way it was & is. Whether his accent was good or not, it still wouldn't have mattered. Seeing Michael Nouri as a Lebanese Dracula made me smile. Haha
Actually his father was from Iraq and his mother was European American.
"You guys get one of these 20 thousand dollar jobs and you think you own us all. Body and soul!".......Ahhhhhh what 20K would buy in 1979!
loved this as kid and still loving it
You rock. Thank You soooooooo much for uploading this. I have The World Of Dracula and I was looking for The Curse of Dracula and I think there was one more and looks like you took both or 3 of the movies and merged them to give us a complete I'm gonna say movie even though They were episodes. I hope you don't mind but I am recording this right now on my dvd recorder. I watched this as a kid.
@@maljardin4251 Thank you for the explanation. Glad you hooked this up.
I remember this when it first aired on TV...I loved it...if Dracula was like Michael Nouri, he could bite me any time!
Ah foolish mortals, you can't destroy Count Dracula.
Very true
You're awesome! I've been looking for this classic late 70's TV series. Brings back so much childhood memories!
This is a nice edit of the Cliffhangers tv show.
That’s Michael Nouri as Dracula , star of flashdance in 1983. His good looks should have landed him the James Bond role in the late 70’s
Very true
That may be but I don’t think he’s that athletic
. . . but Bond was always British right? Gotta have that accent for my money.
Apt215 Melissa Brown actors have voice coaches, believe me they can speak on screen in any accent you want
@@redwandennaoui4508 He wouldn't have got it cause he wasn't British buddy. That's just the way it was & is. Whether his accent was good or not, it still wouldn't have mattered. The only 2 actors who weren't British who played Bond were Irish and Australian, both accents close enough to English without being English & was clearly good enough to any others.
YES LOL!
Great story, loved every minute of it.
Michael Nouri as Dracula?
SIGH!!!!!!.......Devilishly Handsome.😍
10 Years ago someone posted, the entire "Curse of Dracula series" on this site. I watched it all the that day.
Sometime later it was removed. could not find it anywhere.....😓
Thank you for posting this cult classic.😀
omg! I saw this thing in 1979....I recall, I liked to watch it but don't remember what is about. So much time has passed I was 9. We saw it because my mom used to see it. I kinda remember Dracula had a little monster as a helper; perhaps was one of the other stories of cliffhanger. 🤔
70's Twilight.
I have been looking everywhere for this movie thank you so much for uploading it. At last!!
One of my faves, used to record it on audio tape!
Thank youuuuuu.... I’ve never seen before. Happy 2021. Hopefully it holds prosperity/love/peace/giving to those who are good and kind
I Remember this to Cliffhangers and Curse of Dracula Michael Nouri played such a Gorgeous, Super Sexy, Vampire, And you had to watch every Episode because you would miss what was gonna happen next, Great Show.
Episode???? It's a film not a series!!! Why do people keep saying it's a series. It doesn't say 'TO BE CONTINUED' in each scene ending!!!! 🙄🤦
I also watched these when they first aired. Dracula was by far my favorite. Am I the only person who cannot even remember what the other two were about? Having seen it again however, that is 2 1/2 hours ill never get back (I did some fast-forwarding).
