I’m 15 and always been introverted, I got bullied and disrespected so much but kept my peace. People always have grouped up and ganged up on me but I’ve learnt silence is the best. I’ve always wondered why people always felt the need to poke and pick at me. I have no friend but the father ❤ god bless you
I was the same way as you as a teenager. I was always disrespected and rejected at school by boys and girls because I was quiet and kept to myself. And I was also rejected at jobs I had because I was quiet. Black people expect other black women to be loud boisterous larger than life and when they see that a black woman is not like that then they are rejected. At least that's what my experience always been.
It gets better sweetheart. You will find good people out there. If you can try joining a club or activity you like. That really helped me get through high school.

I am more of an introverted/extrovert. But maybe 75% of the time I lean more towards introversion. I dealt with the aggression and weird vibes growing up as well. The absolute worst was having to deal with it at jobs, f'n STRANGE. Thank heavens having a job is behind me now. It makes no sense how not wanting to talk every second of the day is supposed to be weird?? And do not be attractive too! Oh, the jealousy from women who think you're purposely trying to be cute or something to men and it's like, it's not my fault I don't prance around looking dumb in front of the opposite sex. An introverted black girl will just get approached and desperate women don't like that they have to do extra to get that attention.
Facts! Be weird asf because they can’t be in peace with themselves. I experienced that with family members and friends not inviting me out to places because I’ll get approached or they so called man would be looking my way. They’ll deny they’re not on that with you but show their hands when dudes come around by being extra, loud, and twerking on them🤦🏾♀️ I see why most of us want to work from home or have our own businesses lol
Those people are emotional manipulators. Just because you are being yourself they want to make you do what they want or who knows what’s going on, now that I’m older and I see that even as a middle-aged woman. I still encounter these certain behaviors people can only be who they are that’s it. Don’t take it personally
Thank you for sharing I always felt alone in being introverted but I'm glad I'm not. I agree that our quietness doesn't make them comfortable and they don't know how to be with our energy and vice versa. It takes me time to open up so when people act mean towards me I think they some way feel rejected. Hopefully, we can continue to be our wonderful selves and will attract people that accept us and vice versa. I said the same about it being exhausting too.
Yes, I think it’s the way they approach us and it’s usually with this air of entitlement or just very pushy. They don’t understand that people are not jars to pry open for instant graification. it might work with others but it’s a rude awakening for them that they have to earn a place in our lives. I hope we get to that level of understanding and acceptance as well. You keep being you🤍

People try to bully and harass introverts, especially introverts who are simultaneously black women.
Definitely, I think it’s because they think we’re being sneaky but it’s usually them that have a lot to hide and don’t understand healthy boundaries.
