#fieldcraft #basha #britisharmy #militaryskills Heres the best video you will find on setting up the british army basha. if you want to keep your bonce on your shoulders watch this video.
Hello Sam mate 👊 I thought back to the times when corporal short arse hit a fellow recruit so hard around the ear he bust his eardrum. So I thought 🤔 there's a video in there somewhere haha...
Great video on the way to do it correctly, thanks for that👍🏻. On a separate note, I’ve managed to get a Northern Ireland pack, how do you use the molle on it?, also, on your battle belt you have a bungee to tighten up the pouches, how is that set up please?…a video to cover these would be great…for us non ex military viewers👍🏻. Can’t wait for the next video…cheers Lee.
Thank you buddy. I've actually sewn a rocket pocket on the front of my N.I PACK. Its an extra 10ltrs. We it's the cefo complete fighting order/ beltkit/ webbing.there are loops that you thread an 18inch bungeé through, what it does is tightens the belt kit up around your hips so nothings bouncing around. Next video I'll point it out ok fella...
@@outsidertank …Thanks Lee, I have some molle straps, but the webbing runs the other way on my other bags/packs, it’s got me a bit confused…cheers pal.
Hi Corperal, little tip, if you file down the rim at the top half of your basha pole, you can then use the bottom half of your other pole to slide over add height for higher front or ploughpoint😎
What a bargain and a bonus to. I'd defo take along both bungees plus paracord plus bankline. Bungees have their uses as demonstrated. But if weight is an issue you can use shockcord. And that will save a little weight. But I carry around it all, and all of the time..
I made something I call a Bashamok, 3x3 in two sections so I can gather the ends on one as a hammock and pitch the other over as a basha or just on top as a cocoon type hammock. Need to get videoing again to explain better 😂
@@outsidertank we would all be interested in your past history/ experience for sure. You sound ex army that’s why I mention it. I feel you have loads of interesting stories to tell.
Definitely gonna try this technique with my poncho… need to buy 4 bungees at the weekend.. your bungees look about 4 foot long? Great instruction video Tank … OUT!
I've been looking at getting a dutch army bivi bag and setting up like this when it's raining. For extra cover. Need to get camo netting to break up the sheen for what I need it for.. covert as possible for me. I've been reading that the Fecso bags are not half as good as the Carinthia.. but they are like rocking horse sht to find now A days that aren't 20 years old..
I'm hear you. Yes they are hard to find. May I suggest cable tying two large scrim scarfs together to throw over the top of your basha to take away the sheen. It's a lot cheaper and also takes up less room in your Bergen. Get small gardening cable ties...pro tip 👌
@outsidertank mate.. honestly.. that is the best tip I've heard.. that's crucial thinking that is mate. I was thinking of going for more distressed texture, like this video, and I could do the same with the zip ties with it: ua-cam.com/video/JhIrrjKC1D0/v-deo.htmlsi=-y5DMKfh6XsArKz3
@@outsidertank like setting up in a dry river bed.. when it rains she'll be camped I a stream 😆😆😆.. who sets up in a hollow like that. I hear you mate.. I love the camo tho.. its the only good bit in the video..
everything was beautiful. But we know what comes after u set up. So I never got anything out. Stand two then bug out And tarps left everywhere well no tarps 58 poncho classic kit heavy as f..K when you're 13 years old with a brein gun.

That forest looks stunning buddy, great video
I didn't film the mess Anglers of made of it Steve. 😞
Great vid, I asked the same question on Instagram, what poles do you use?
im sorry havnt seen that dont use social media very much. so if you go on Kombat uk get yourself x2 basha poles.
Another instalment of tank in the woods 👊⛺️🥾🌳
Yea boii I can't get enough of it mate, but I am missing being on the bank 😕

I know what you mean budd. And it's hard to explain the remedy here. You will need to use two sets of straps.
Hi Corperal, little tip, if you file down the rim at the top half of your basha pole, you can then use the bottom half of your other pole to slide over add height for higher front or ploughpoint😎
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Am I connecting the two poles together ?
I just purchased the 30L patrol pack (£20) and in the side pocket was an old basha dpm. Happy days. Would you say bungee over paracord?
What a bargain and a bonus to. I'd defo take along both bungees plus paracord plus bankline.

@@outsidertank A pleasure bro. Yeah, easy but effective.

The bungees are 18 inches. You can use 2ml shock cord. Cut them at 18 inches. This is a far cheaper and not so dangerous solution.
Great video mucker as always nice to see you still got ur webbing sorry I got rid of mine lol
So glad it remains Steve. Thanks for watching big man.
Foot on it😉👌 #essence video bro😎
