@@lukecoleman23 don’t ever sell that man. I just dropped 7k on one and now dumping more into it. Worth every penny for such a masterpiece. Never to be built again
@2StrokeSmokes yep thet are a collector item now. I'm looking for one, an ATC 250r and a ATC 70 (to replace the one I had as a kid) to go with my Blaster, TRX 250R, TRX 400, and my TRX 450R.
I just got mine squared away 😎 white 2006 model. Very stock and pretty clean. I have about $5500 in it. Worth every penny and I hope to keep it a long time
@@Carolina_Boy_93clearly you've never ridden a ATC 250r or a quadrilla.quadrillion. Banshees are nice but they are easy beat by a 250r and any stock 450.
I would do anything to have that awesome banshee song readily available to play. Yamaha Banshee (bansheebansheebanshee) makin a difference, going the distance! A banshee!
This was my calling. This nasty terrain was my backyard and all I would do everyday all day is go as fast as I possibly could thru the washes. If only I had the balls to go into one of these races and probably get humbled 😅 banshee!!!! Yamaha banshee!! Making a difference!! Going the distance 😌
I believe this is 1986, it was before the banshee went into production, hence why they keep referring to it as the Banshee "Moto-4".. These are prototypes..
There's two types of guys out there. Guys that have owned a banshee and guys that wish they owned one. Work overtime sell sperm eat less collect bottles and cans....whatever it takes. BE the first guy....you'll never regret it.
Lol, I just bought one. Debated on a Suzuki LT500R, a Honda 250R, and the Banshee, but Yamaha's race heritage, proven reliability, and the huge aftermarket support steered me right to the Banshee! They are a truly badass machine, even in stock trim!
@@LolliWANG505 nah, you can talk to just about anyone, even if they don't like atv's, and they know about the banshee. They'll just scratch their heads if you mention quadzilla
The Great ol'days, 80's forever !! 👍🏻👍🏻😎
Was on the fence about blowing all my cash on a banshee, after hearing this song I’m on my way to the bank.
Update, just blew $7000 on a 2004 banshee limited edition all black 🤟

I had this on VHS tape back in 90 I can't believe I'm watching it on a phone.
Find it- it’s gold dust
Just got done building mines ground up , I’m never selling it they are legendary ! And it feels good to be the owner of one
Feels almost as good as owning a 250r
Why are you building mines?
@@djhspawnalmost? I’m sorry, nothing compares to that adrenaline we get from a banshee. Nothing

I sure miss those days.
Me too life was so much better and everyone was SO much happier and not fukked in the head mentally!!!
I'm going to be singing the Yamaha Banshee song all day now.

Man that Banshee sounds so sick!
Straight Legends there! Sundahl and Corda back in the prime time of ATVs
still a icon in 2020

Now remember, they did this on a bike with basically stock suspension. Thetlybwere getting the hell beat out of them back then.
Two years ago I lost the lower end on my 1996 Banshee. Took it as a sign that I need to do a complete rebuild of it….. worth it.
This is amazing thank you for sharing

Awesome video.
The greatest ATV ever made. Period.
Does anyone know where I can get this music intro?
I wish I would have kept my Banshee, divorce and custody battle, had to let it go...

I believe it was stock. From what I've read this was one of the protypes.
1987
It was 1987.
Anybody Know WHO made this song.?
No idea, but I dance around my house in my underwear listening to it .😁
Whats the song called
Only a Banshee owner will get this but I wonder how many plugs it took to run the race lol
pfft. No fouling plugs there, they're WOT.
It wouldn't surprise me if they had the same plugs in the whole time. I'm curious about how many air filters though
