1. Start very small
He studied at Chittagong College, he became active in cultural activities and won awards for drama.
2. Challenge things
He enrolled in the Department of Economics at Dhaka University and completed his BA in 1960 and MA in 1961.
3. Don't be money centered
During the Bangladesh Liberation War, he founded a citizen's committee and ran the Bangladesh Information Center.
4. Don't wait for a certificate
He's a founding board member of Grameen America and Grameen Foundation, which support microcredit.
5. Behave like a job creator
In 1983, the pilot project began operation as a full-fledged bank for poor Bangladeshis and was renamed Grameen Bank.
6. Find your inspiration
He received the United States Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2010.
7. Reinvent your purpose
In 2008, he was rated number 2 in Foreign Policy magazine's list of the 'Top 100 Global Thinkers'.
8. Don't limit your imagination
He co-founded Yunus Social Business - Global Initiatives.
9. Have confidence
In 2012, he became Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.
10. Create the better world
He published several books related to his finance work.

What is even more surprising is that, how could I have missed such a motivational and great human being lived in my country for so many years whereas I have been looking for motivational gurus abroad.

Something funny yet remarkable that Dr.Yunus said in his 2016 UC San Diego honorary speech about us being natural entrepreneurs who shouldn’t be limited to looking for jobs was “When we came into this planet we didn’t sit in our caves and say ‘I’m unemployed’. We didn’t send a job application from Cave number 5 to Cave number 10 asking ‘Do you have a job for me?’ No, because humans are go-getters...we can’t sit around waiting for a job.” I think about that quote often😂

Amazing speeches from the great man. But yet I have 2 questions which might be funny.
1. If everyone wants to become an Entrepreneur then obviously there will be no man/woman working in the factory/office. But can you run your business without employees/worker? Its not logical that you can handle all of this by yourself without recruiting employees.
2. Sir, As you trust poor women in the village and give them money, what is the criteria to trust her and what if she is bankrupted??
Thank you very much for posting your questions which I believe would be for Sir Yunus but in any case, I guess for no. 1 although everyone wants to become an Entrepreneur, not everyone will take the action to be an entrepreneur so there would still people who will work for the entrepreneur. for no. 2 I think Sir Yunus is willing to take the risk and is focused on the poor women's possibility of success rather than on them being bankrupted (which is possible too) and perhaps there are requirements for them to be able to continue receiving micro-loans. :) I think he #Believes in them so that they will also #Believe in themselves. #BTA219 Shine
