i love keychron's releases lately with the v line / q line. Such good options for those getting into the hobby if the group buy boards aren't someones thing
Trust me boys get the the new V1 max instead. It's 30 euro / dollar more but it has a gasket mount, bluetooth and 2.4ghz. It also sounds better despite lacking the heavy silicone on the bottom.
@Bunta-STi you van easily replace a battery. They cost like 15 bucks on aliexpress. You could even upgrade it. Even if it dies after let's say 5 years. Then what? You still have a working wired board. On top of that, it's pretty easy to usr a wire for gaming etc for that extra ms or two. But 2.4hz for everything else. The 2.4ghz is even suitable for gaming with how low the latency is
i used to put o rings as well, but in the end i just cut off all those standoff and put a thick poron foam , just let the pcb laying on top of the foam , and of course tape mod it as well , it sounds better
i got the v1 max. Not being a keyboard enthusiast i can't believe people would pay more for the q series because none of the differences matter to me and some might be different but not better. the switches, chasis, and sound are all good enough for me. It's perfectly weighty and i place no value in it being heavier. That's a negative. More durablity is a plus but i've never broken a keyboard or dropped one. i tape modded the space bar too and its nice. And i got it off amazon for like $105 shipped.
great view, though i don't understand the reason or the difference between Gateron brown vs Keychon brown? How difference are they? seems like the stock ones are slightly higher? from the video

I wanted to know since college starts up this month and I was hoping to get one before it starts as well as get it around the same time my new Macbook arrives.
With the Q3 they restocked within the month but I can't really say when they'll do it for the V1. You're always welcome to buy it off Amazon too if you are okay with getting the barebone knob version, they have it available there. Usually takes a bit for them to have more stable stock after a new release. amzn.to/3bshZhx

Idk man. Not everyone wants a wireless keyboard. If you have it plugged in 365 days a year like mine, the battery will die first.

Yes the Gateron Browns are much better feeling, sound more solid, and feel more stable. It's very noticeable when hopping between the two.

Hope they make a full-size version, or at least a TKL version.
Full size was one of the last versions in the Q series but the V3 will be TKL.
