Can you please leave the links to all the keycaps, switches, lube etc for someone that is completly new knows where to buy and what to buy? amazing video, you got a new sub ! :D
My stabs were not screwing in all the way. Is that how its supposed to be or did I do something wrong? Cause now my stabs are a bit loose and rattles a lot... I didn't lube them yet so that could also be why but im pretty sure its cause of the stabs not being screwed in all the way...
I assume that's not a PE foam but rather a thin silicone sheet, I have one and it looks similar and also produces a clackier sound profile while PE foam would've made it deeper
@@QuickE23 No my bad, i think it's actually a PE foam but it's very dense, keep it if you want a deeper sound, but dont use the silicone plate foam, silicone is known to make builds clackier.
I recently got this keyboard, but when I connect it to my computer, it doesn’t work. Do you have any idea why this could be happening? I think it might have something to do with the daughterboard connection but I’m not sure
Do the LEDs light up? If not, the issue may be in the daughterboard, the connector cable that connects the USB C port to the board, or possibly a damaged port or copper connector. Have u tried a different USB C cable? Also if you want to really identify the source of the issue, use a DMM and measure continuity in either the daughter board, the cable, or between test points. There are some tutorials on UA-cam that could help you with this and may even have a solution as to how to fix this. But before doing that, try simple fixes such as reseting the board (I believe there's a reset switch on it), trying different USB C cables, etc.
@@dryeraseboard6051 Nope, the $30 is if you buy it direct from the seller on Taobao. it's still $30 USD there but the shipping will likely cost you the same as the board, plus you'll have to wait a few weeks.

just got this kit in purple, going to build it tomorrow and hope it sounds as good as yours
also congrats on 400 subs 👏
Thank you so much
Is it good?
how's your purple one?
@@dav_nath mint keyboards keeb sounded better
nice build, quality content
Nice! I'll be getting the purple soon. you earned a sub as well! :)
Nice content quality man. What camera did you use?
Nice popy and clacky sound!
Love the vid man. What's your take on the Gas67?
Thank you. This entry keyboard is low budget around $30-60 but pcb is north facing it will have some noise when use cherry profile keycaps.
@@sokeeb17 Built mine with some long pole switches, clear of interference. Not a bad package for the price.
@@AFIQKeebs hey just a quick question, what are the budget good sounding switches that won't get interference with cherry profile keycaps?
@@zenjch from my experience, Akko poms and lavender purples do not have interferences.
Wow the cable looks pretty good
Hi did you do holee mod on the stabs? Love the sound of your typing test btw, this what I'm looking for :)
Dont holee mod yet
Good board on a budget. performance is also there. 1000hz polling rate
did you have any problems with the epsilons and the northfacing led on this board ? nice video!
Yep The light colour has changed and also interference with cherry profile keycaps
Nice Gas67 build🤤

Try lube first to reduce rattle. If it can not screw anymore, you might buy the new one
Hey did you manage to resolve this problem? I couldn't screw in the stabs all the way too.
@@Kenyin I haven’t been able to fix it yet. I think some units have issues like this and we just got unlucky
@@FPLogistic Looks like after-market stabs are the only solution. Thanks

Nuphy had a keyboard that looked the exact same and was bluetooth for only 20 dollars.
Which one?
looks good!

I'm not sure they have software or not. You might try with software first. Then If it still not, buy new daughterboard.

have you thought of getting rid of the silicone? this sounds really nice btw
Not different or a little bit
This kit is amazing for the price. Where did you get it?
I got one form Keebmonkey. It’s 70 now tho. Think the 30 dollar price was a pre order promo

Aliexpress is another way to get it
hey! im planning to buy this board and i wanna try to do half plate and i was wondering if something like pliers would be enough to cut polycarbonate
Lst's try
Pretty sure scissors would work
Mine on the way from Taobao, costs 31USD only.
OMG!!
How much was shipping?
great video
Quick question: when putting on the gasket am i suppose to put on both sides of the plate because some people only put one.
lol
Would you recommend it now after some time
Yep It's still be good budget custom mechaanical keyboard
what microphone setup you use for recoding audio ?
Blue Yeti
