Studying the microbiome of hidden corals with Marcellina Rola

Did you know that corals also have a microbiome made up of many different microbe species? To improve coral reefs restoration efforts, Marcellina Rola, tried to shed light on which microbe species exist in these communities and understand how they might help coral health and growth.
This work is part of the RESTORESEAS project, an international project dedicated to find nature-based solutions to restore marine forests along the Atlantic coasts.
