What about reviews saying that the camera is unreliable if it's even remotely hot? (78 degrees or higher)

Yup! 5Ghz WiFi...much faster
too bad it doesn't use a 256gb sd card I got one free from Samsung in a promotion a while back
jus buy one if you wont camera friend!!
It would be awesome if you could use it. However, I put a normal 64gb sd card in and the card broke after a week because it's not "high endurance". The card need to be a high endurance one. The Samsung 128 high endurance works well

+MacTechGenius, how was your direct 12 volt setup handling? I heard in video you have a Power magic ultra battery 0:46? I'm guessing it didn't do well directly connected to the model 3 so thats why you got the power source?
Yea...had it directly wired to the 12V battery but that resulted in an error and required a 12V replacement. I am not sure if it is related to the dashcam but as a precautionary I switched to the battery.

You should angle your camera down lower so there is less sky in the shot, you might get more useless footage at the bottom but you don't need an image of the sky and all it does is over expose the video
Can you do Blackvue dr900s parking mode demo video (night time) in similar conditions as you had on your dr750s review. Planning to buy one of them, but it seems that night video is pretty useless on dr900s if it is not well lit area (parking mode), rear camera seems to do better job on dr900s on night time, at least on those videos that actually demonstrate it.

David Monroe yes I have the same 35% tints and I use a DR650S 2ch and even the older resolutions work fine
Great video. Considering getting my 1st car (Toyota Yaris 2015/16) in November. Also have the option to record in 1080p 60fps, thats great. 4k is great but it's only in 30fps. Maybe I'll do some experimenting if and when I get it in November. I have a Samsung S9 smartphone too.
I also upgraded from the 750 to the 900. Love it so far but still need to experiment with various settings.

The DR900 rear camera should be an upgrade for you as I believe yours was just 720p. Head over to the blackvue website they came out with a compatibility chart for wires and cameras.
