Circle Time develops interpersonal skills including problem solving and conflict resolution.
Circle Time develops in the children self esteem, self respect, an awareness of their own emotions and self confidence. It develops the children's feelings for others including respect, empathy, and sensitivity to the needs and emotions of others, along with an ability to listen.
During Circle Time children are helped to construct their own values e.g. a sense of responsibility (they formulate their own classroom rules), initiative, helpfulness, the value of sharing and of being kind.
