"GG6" is the stage name for the growling vocalist, Henrik "GG6" Englund Wilhelmsson. The "GG" means "Growl God". Also, in "The Nexus", they had a different harsh male vocalist. His name is Andreas Solvestrom. I definitely like Henrik a lot more. He basically rap growls. This is definitely one of their heaviest and growl-focused songs. Check out "Viral". It's from their new album coming out on October 2nd.
Have you yet discovered Amaranthes too biggest hit tracks? "Viral" (Very new!) ... and "Drop Dead Cynical" ...Oh! And their new album coming out 2nd of october!
All of the scenes in this music video are actual the same scenes from other music videos, they just filmed parts of this song there. It's like a little Easter egg and that's why the video is a bit everywhere with the guitarist on a keyboard. Think it's the videos from 365 and helix although I could be wrong
Amaranthe had three singers that focused more on the clean singing at the start. This song was done after the clean male singer left and let GG6 the growler step it up. They are back to three singers again but are balancing out the three singers now days in their new stuff.
When In Flames and Soilwork did their videos for "Trigger" and Rejection Role" they did cameos in each others music videos. Nice little back & forth action. The videos are quite old but both songs are KILLER!! You should check them out =)
I suggest you see "Chaska - Nymph o the lake (live session)" Peruvian folk metal band with a dark touch, Chaska is recognized for their album "Pururauca" which is about an Inka legend, It is said that when Wiracocha Inca and Inca Urco fled, abandoning the people of Cusco to their fate before the imminent arrival of the powerful Chanca army, Cusi Yupanqui requested the return of his father to lead the defense. Faced with the Inca's refusal, Pachacútec was forced to take command of the army. Pachacútec recruited some neighboring ethnic groups to resist together the powerful Chanca army, but no one wanted to join them more than the Canas ethnic group. When the Inca army fell down on the battlefield to wait for the enemy army, Ttopauanchireq, minister of the Coricancha, ordered small stone mounds to be disguised as soldiers so that from a distance the army would appear more numerous. According to the story, in the heat of battle, the stone mounds, guinea pigs, huanacos and other animals were made real by the will of the gods to favor the Incas, who obtained victory.
GG6 means Growl God 6. Henrik GG6 Englund, Fricking amazing. New album Manifest drops Oct. 2nd for Amaranthe. Another is Countdown, Drop Dead Cynical, Maximize.
Try these from their new album Manifest, set for release Oct 2: Archangel Viral There are great recommendations below, too. Amaranthe has been evolving quickly their last several albums, and they employ a widening variety of styles even within an album. My wife and I have loved this triple-(vocal-)threat for several years, and we're pumped for the new album!
This is sort of his little feature song and was filmed clearly a bit casually and more playful on the same set as another songs music video. (Might have been 365? I forgot) I like this one a lot it's a ton of fun
My man, big fan of the channel, but it's been long enough. You need these on your channel. Infant Annihilator - Unholy Gravebirth or Blasphemian Hollow Prophet(deathcore super group) - Infernal Cleansing Spite - Kill or Be Killed Hunt the Dinosaur - Destructo Methwitch - Burn Victim Black Tongue - Parting Soliloquy Orbit Culture - North Star of Nija Amon Amarth - As Loke Falls
Sure! Here's the best ones you haven't reacted to yet: * Helix * 365 * Hunger * Viral You can also try a little different new one: "Strong". And "Boomerang" is weird but good. They also got ballads-ish songs: "Burn with me" and "Amaranthine"
HI Hoopsick...love your deep and serious reactions..and i dont know if you have the same felling about this, but i really think this is a great band....if she wasn´t in it! I have this feeling that we have a band with great ideas, music, male growls and voices and then..."how can we make it to the charts...well we put in a chick". I feel the power of the music, but when she starts singing the energy drops to almost zero and become a rock/pop track. Well i know the band has a huge crowd of fans, but i think Amaranthe could have done it without her...but yeah...she is beautiful.

This is essentially their heaviest most growl driven song. For more of their traditional sound I would go for 1.000.000 lightyears or Inferno🤘

This band is cringey AF! But catchy...
