Great vlog. The Horseshoe has an Epic 1/3 with a $600 initial max buy-in and a match-the-stack option after an hour. You should consider playing in that game. It has a 200 BB buy-in and possibility for deeper stack play. It would be a good intermediate step between 1/3 ($400 cap) and 2/5 ($1000 cap). I don't know how many for-profit players are in that game, but I would guess less than the 2/5 at Live! or MGM. Good luck!
Hey Mark! Thanks for the comment! I was actually thinking about playing in the Epic 1/3 game in the future! I think if the meetup game goes well Sunday I will try to get in that game in the future. I am a big fan of deep stacked poker, and I think that game could make for a really entertaining vlog!
@@ESPPoker what year? I was '95 Physics... I like your vlog because it's short and to-the-point, unlike most other poker vloggers that are trying to play 5/10 even at 1/3 tables. Very nice! Go Golden Knights! 👍😀
@@cnyjay Thanks for the support! I got a new vlog coming out Wednesday that should be really good stay tuned for that! And I graduated 2020 Mechanical Engineering. Go Golden Knights!!!!
Hey Patrick! Thanks for the support it means a lot! So I don't think the regular Horseshoe 1/3 game has the Mississippi straddle, but they have a new Epic 1/3 game that's a match the stack game with a double straddle up to 30 dollars. I hope to play in that game in the future!
That's good to hear! Not a big fan of button straddles. And that new match the stack game sounds pretty cool. Trying to make the transition to live poker so I might have to try that at some point
Hey! Yea I was at the table in the back corner. Next time we definitely should take a photo! The Horseshoe meetup game went REALLY well stay tuned for that vlog. I am going to make sure to link every vlogger who played in that game in the description of that vlog so I will make sure to link your channel!
Pocket 10s hand. I also struggled with being gun shy and not raising when I thought I had the best hand. Try placing a price for yourself post flop. Yeah a 7 is definitely winning but you said it yourself. If no one is raising, then that 7 is PROBABLY not there. Start charging money for the next card. Eliminate those extra players. Regroup and focus on the next move. Trial and error definitely helps me.
Appreciate the comment! Yea I really need to be more focused in the middle of hands. A lot to take away from this session, but I am definitely learning!
On the pocket 6’s hand, you stated that you accidentally made it $16 because you were in the small blind. Then on the flop, you said there was an all-in and a call before it gets to you…How does that happen?
Hi Justin, My apologies. On the flop I checked it, then it got checked to a player in middle position who went all in and the next player to act called him. I don't know why I said "Before it even gets to me"
Hahaha I'm sorry. So top pair turned trip queens, but then the second guy who went all in rivered the flush. I believe he had the ace high flush draw when he went all in. Ill make sure to include that next time!
Tell you what at your age that's how it's supposed to look the money you lost I hope your learning from those mistakes so you can capitalize your play in the future. Not every one is a winner right away it takes time effort and money good luck and positive vibes your way in life and on the felt.

Love the vlog. Keep it up.
Thank you! Means a lot!
Great video! I'm also in MD so I love watching these 1/3 vlogs at Horseshoe & Live. Does Horseshoe still have that Mississippi straddle?

Just a friendly thing I noticed, your camera shake or leg tapping happens most when you have a good hand.
I think you might be right, idk why I was doing it so much this session. I have a new vlog coming out this week and there was very litter camera shake
