Hello everyone! little clarification, about halfway through the vid when I was talking about getting your voidstones with 1.4m DPS I was referring to the first 2 voidstones from Eater & Exarch. Maven & uber elder are quite a step up in difficulty! Hey man I don't usually comment on any of these videos but I gotta say to you man, you're rf guide being so well detailed saved this game for me. Since then I've learned how to craft a whole lot better and actually get to the point of attempting to minmax. Have also gotten to the point I can play toxic rain characters pretty well from what I've learned crafting for my RF build. Unfortunately I seem to be stuck around the 95-96 levels but I'll get there. Keep up the good work.
Curious if it's an affordable build this league. I kind of last played during Kalundra and that league destroyed drop rates and a lot of fun for me to want to play. Missed out by doing Raging Skulls the league before to get experience RF with it being cheap.
Just pointing out that on the skill page 70-85, that instead of Tempest Shield you have Frost Shield , but it also seems you can't lifetap it anymore either

In 3.21 for the first time in 2.6k hours played I crafted my own gear. Your guidance made it feel like I actually knew what I was doing. Started 3.22 with, for the first time, complete confidence in my plans for the league. The guides you make are the best guides for even a brand new player that anyone has produced in 10 years of path of exile. Thanks bud.
My wife and I both loved how many notes you put on your RF builds. She had started on someone else's build and I told her to switch to yours and she was really grateful for all the notes you added to it. It made it super easy to follow and understand.
Not sure if I will be starting rf inq this league (played it multiple times) but the amount of work you put in your guide is fantastic. I hope many people this league get to discover how good this build is!
my friend, your build guides got me to mapping far better than any other. Attention to detail and explaining deranking defense and how to overcome it.. just *chef kiss* amazing, stay awesome!
Hi Pohx, Big thank you for all the work you've put into providing resources to support and explain your Build to other players. I've just reached end game following your build (Mostly) and I found the Wiki-page, FAQs section etc to be very useful in understanding how and why you've made certain choices along the way. As a new player to the game, this made my playthrough a blast, or more accurately an inferno! I'm sure others have conveyed how useful the information and guides you've produced have been, but I wanted to express gratitude for the effort you've made in helping others as your POB is very well done. I appreciate a POB that has selections for skill gems, items and the passive skills at various levels rather than just the end-build. It really helps to understand where to spend the passive points during the levelling process because sometimes experienced players making videos reference aspects or items in the game that a new player has no idea of. Thanks again Righteous Fire Master.
Thank you for the extensive guide Pohx. I played Lightning Arrow last league and even though it was obviously super strong I found that I had to check in 20 different places all the time just to know how to progress the build and what to do with my gear. I really appreciate that you try to make it as beginner friendly as possible and that you compiled so much information in your wiki. I will definetly return to RF this league!
I will more than likely follow your RF guide for Jugg, this looks fun and as someone who comes into PoE gets overwhelmed then leaves i think i might actually try and kill my first bosses this league :) thank you so much for all the effort
I just played POE for the first time ever this season and I wanted an easier build to get used to the game and I found Pohx's rf jugg guide and all I can say is definitely give it a shot because he made my transition into this game pretty much effortless. Anything I had a question for while leveling, he had an answer in his guide. When I first tried playing POE years ago I got overwhelmed and quit way too fast but this time around Pohx helped me fall in love with POE and it is now my favorite game I've ever played.
@PohxKappa, as people say "Church of Pohx". Your builds have been a nobrainer for me for the past... I think already 5 leagues. One thing wanted to share - consider "Storm call" as a Act 1 -> pre RF. Decided to try it out ("storm call" + added lightning + arcane). Feels really smooth at 10-20+ levels.
Played jugg version for 2 leagues now. I will go for inquisitor now. Just want you to thank for a ton of work you put into this guides, you are the legend!
Thank you for this in video format, reading walls of text sometimes just does not click for me, seeing and hearing the differences between Jugg and Inq works better for me.
Hey man just wanted to say huge thanks. Youre the first build i ever starting playing in PoE (started about a month ago) and love how indepth you go on your PoB. As a new player it made everything so easy to understand and made every other aspect of the game easier to understand, now i have multiple characters in standard at 90+, but still go back to my RF to feed them all and will def be playing RF INQ at league start.
Pohx, can't tell you this enough but I'm really grateful for all the stuff you put out. Since I started from legacy league up until delve in which i quit playing. Now I'm gonna go for this build. Hopefully i make it work!
i just got a steam deck and as a mouse and keyboard player i think this is the only build i could ever play with a ''controller'' so this right here is the answer to my problem. But i'm undecided on whether to follow jugg or inquisitor, im not a new player but i might as well be with how different a controller feels.
@oscurotanque8317 Pohx giving an alternative solution if you cannot get your hand on Aegis becoz last time pohx play inquisitor RF it cost 15D for i think for entire league
Thanks for your hard work on this build Pohx. I practiced this build and the jug build in standard while waiting for the league. I think the Inq is a lot more fun to level in the early acts, since you get to start with damage nodes instead of life nodes. Less respeccing too, which can be confusing for some people like me. Excited to start the league with this!
This build is surprisingly easy to gear for, the issue lies in getting those chunky high mana, dex and recovery requirements, you need roughly ~1200 mana to run level 20 of each aura with enough mana left to spam fire trap 4 times before your mana runs out, you will also be rocking Purity of Elements for a long long time until then too. which means it is better to go for whole values on Dex, Int, Mana, Life with a free slot for crafting on what is needed when you start mapping than looking for OMG IT HAS 5 OR 6 MODIFERS THIS IS GREAT. No, if it has something like stun and block recovery it is rubbish that is a wasted slot. I can not stress enough how important Fire Exposer is to an RF build and you can only really get fire exposure on Inquisitor and Juggernaut from Wave of Conviction and Scorching Ray; Since Scorching Ray takes too long to charge and only variants of it from Heist or the Corrupted version are any good plus are only really useful for single targets, they should be disregarded anyway. Without Fire Exposure, half the bosses in the game won't melt to Fire Traps when you stack them and half the yellow and unique bosses such as Rogue Exiles, League Challenge objective targets and event bosses tied to mechanics you need to down quickly to benefit from fully unless they have the Exposer debuff. Wave of Conviction only applies it for a short time too, but it is better than nothing because it is a conical spread, but not ideal, plus it takes up a gem socket - two if tied to lifetap. You'll want to get Imp/Demon/Archdemon Crown from Rituals, so focus on Rituals in your Atlas passives and throw Fire Trap into it so that Fire Trap does the Exposure, but again is sub optimal. OR better yet to apply it universally you'll need to get Master of Fire or Corrosive Elements Cluster Jewel passive (which you can buy from other players for a massive amount of currency on trade) or what you should be aiming for when you hit yellow maps is the Conquest suffix, preferably on gloves as helm should be an elder base. Without Fire Exposer again, anything after level 50 will not melt to RF damage, it will stay there and take it for 5 minutes slowly ticking away, or take no damage at all if they have fire resistance. Exposure is designed to go "oh you have fire resistance, that's nice - here lose it!".
I am making my second main right now as a rf char. I didnt follow the guide exactly but pretty close. I got rf up by mid act 2 on ruthless if you have a couple of orbs (hint just say you have half people will almost always still sell you at half off lmao) you can get enough regen hp gear to make this happen fyi for anyone debating this class.
Pohx you are a god among men! Your attention to detail and the depth and breadth of scope that goes into everything you do is truly amazing. Keep up the good work my man! Your guides actually made me want to return to PoE after a 3 year break. Looking forward to burning the world this league.
I got lucky I didn't use a guide Ive made it through act 6 blind and havnt had trouble figured I would finally look a guide up and i basically made this
@PohxKapp Bro look, im 90+ trying to swap to skitter bots, and im off my like 2.5% mana reserve and can't equip it. I have the tree spot on with the mana reserve nodes, i have charisma, i have a crap ton of mana ( i don't know if the amount matters too much). i gotta be missing something
Seems like I'm at the same place as you atm Lvl 93 with the same problem, thought the charisma amulet would help but I'm still short of Mana, did you fine a solution?
@@caseyrybak with the chieftain rework there is a early game build that works with RF, it's not perfect by any means, but being able to stack fireres and max fire res and be super tanky off just that makes it viable
Could you also go Burden of Truth for your belt to get a similar effect to corrupted soul? I think I did that a couple leagues ago on Inquis RF and it felt fine as your bridge pre-Aegis.
@@PohxKappa Thanks for the response! 5-6 hr is quite long😅 As I'm taking notes/playing, it would just be easier to parse back through to find specific parts in a 2-3 hr vod compared to a 5-6 hr vod. Also, it's easier for me to digest in two smaller pieces than one giant piece. Either way, thank you for the very informative guide; I appreciate the amount of work/expertise you put into this.
Alright im brand spanking new to the game, and i have absolutely no clue about half the terminology and abbreviations being used, but im gonna try this build 🤣🤣 gonna watch your leveling guide thanks man even the POB is like damn idk what any of this is but imma try it 🤣🤣🤣
That scam happened to me on Diablo back in the day for a “Gull Dagger” a weapon that has 100 magic find. Spammed the Gull canceled and then switched to a regular dagger all the while telling me to “trade quick”
Mega as always! Was considering focusing on Rituals early on this league so maybe I go agane with this version instead of the icicle miner I was considering
Hey Pohx Im a total POE noob. im at lvl 45 now, and i still can't figure out how not to loose life while RF is active. i noticed you have a play along video which is 5h long, but i dont have the time to watch it all. could you point out the factors which lets me stay full health while RF is active? would be very appreciated! thanks a lot for your guidance.
I'm playing this build now with a "rise of the phoenix" shield and invested 1.5 divines now and have 1.5Mil dps. this build is tanky as hell, well done Phox, thx :) edit: at level 82 now :)
The 85-90 range is actually were I get stuck every league. It doest matter how much a guide is followed, the problem usually is that it feels like a catch-22 when you hit red maps- you need the currency to make ur character better... at farming the currency you need to min-max
If you get stuck there, change to a low effort and cost farming strat. I usually recommend essence alch and go farming as the best strat, with a side of einhar or expedition depending on taste, since it works in white maps too. Don't do full clears, only go after the essences and/or bosses, corrupt the purple essences, and you should have enough currency to either buy better gear, or craft it yourself. This is one of the best strats and still works well into week 2.
Your rf jugg guide last league was the best guide I've ever seen. Couldn't even tell you a close second. Just curious, why Inquisitor this time around? Just something different? Won't it be way less tanky?
i seem to have problems finding a Tree to go by or what gems i should use on a low Budget, i have been using the ( path of building ), for the skill Tree
Hello, I'm new to game only lvl 14 atm and having no issues with killing mobs and surviving... though I don't understand the Pohx loot filter colors on the RF INQ_JUGG Lvl 1-90, at the moment I'm just saving the items with slots that match my gems and specially the linked ones so the support gems kicks in. But I don't understand why the tripple green linked shields and alike.. why they are colored by the lootfilter. Since they give nothing but a scroll fragment when I try to sell them. Is it for future crafting? and what about the small dimmed blue items? A loot filter explanation would be much appreciated or tbh any help at all is very appreciated!
750 hours in this game and I've never NOT played anything but Rauder, Duelist and Ranger, always melee too - I really should try something else but no idea which guide to start with lol
ive been loving playing this build for 2 leagues now, but i have an important question to ask that i havent seen be covered, what wildwood ascendency do you suggest would be good to run for Inquisitor for endgame? i was thinking primal for the charms since tinctures would sacrifice flasks, but would love your input on it!
hi! two questions pls: 1) why melding of the flesh? what is the benefit pls, i can only see downsides? 2) your timeless jewel is simply not available, i saw it once for 150 div.. and before i decided wether that is worth it or not, it was sold. havent seen another one for days. are there alternatives pls?
Melding allows you to focus on scaling one max res in this instance cold res due to aegis aurora. With proper setup we can reach 87+ all res. As for the timeless jewel you should never copy the one from pob. It's always going to be inflated in price. If you're confused on brutal restraint check out my website pohx.net/faq and search "brutal"
@@PohxKappa thanks for the reply! 1) in your pob you have 47% cold res and 79% max res.. up 2% from without the jewel - which doesnt exactely showcase the 87% possibility... thats why i was confused, i guess. 2) thanks for the tips on your website, ill try to find one with calculator... but i couldnt find the search function on your website, used ctrl+f.
@@MrNukedawhales np, the res should definitely be capped you might just be using the incorrect gear set. Here's a video on how to search timeless jewels with POB ua-cam.com/video/nGapG7L2hn8/v-deo.html
for me i don't really play only rf but RF is great for league start. believe me i try a lot of league start build RF is the best. you can do till yellow map with miss match gear ( 75+ ele res and at least 30 chaos res) and little investment for red map. i only have a problem with pinacle boss because as pohx said RF damage is kinda low but you can use it to kill these boss but it will be slow.
A Guy ingame told me to check your build as it’s noob/new player friendly, even tho it’s not my style cause I love melees games and I’m trying to do same in PoE, I’ll follow you and keep watching cause I see your detailed and the guy wouldn’t sent me to watch something not helpful
You will have the worst experience ever if you plan to go melee in PoE. It is not viable, the only half decent build is Boneshatter juggs/slayer. The rest is straight up dumpster fire
@@m.h.4907 I’ve noticed melee is dead in every game anyways, I’m old school melee player only melee always, unfortunately new gen kids only knows ranged classes or shooting games, I still go through the struggles and will keep playing melee
I did a test run today until act 6 and I'm thinking about not doing library as I don't think I'll miss out on a lot of speed as fire trap didn't change much. I also don't have to hazzle around with Dex. Am I very wrong for this? Great build, have beein itching to try out RF for ages but never found a decent build.
Followed this guide and got my Fire resist at the cap and got Hearty and the first 2 points in my ascendancy. Do I need to wait to Pious Path to actually run the build? Currently my health just drains within 30 seconds of activating RF?
Hiiii, firstly thanks for all the guides !!! I'm having trouble rn , i'm level 35 and running RF since level 15 , I have 190% fire resistance but I'm starting to take damages of RF, any advice ? any reason why I'm taking dmg ? (act 5 not ended yet)

@@caseyrybak with the chieftain rework there is a early game build that works with RF, it's not perfect by any means, but being able to stack fireres and max fire res and be super tanky off just that makes it viable
Could you also go Burden of Truth for your belt to get a similar effect to corrupted soul? I think I did that a couple leagues ago on Inquis RF and it felt fine as your bridge pre-Aegis.
can u break into two videos in the future playthroughs? 😅 (A1-A5 and A6-A10)
Sure. I can think about it. What would be the advantages of splitting it for you?
@@PohxKappa Thanks for the response! 5-6 hr is quite long😅
As I'm taking notes/playing, it would just be easier to parse back through to find specific parts in a 2-3 hr vod compared to a 5-6 hr vod.
Also, it's easier for me to digest in two smaller pieces than one giant piece.
Either way, thank you for the very informative guide; I appreciate the amount of work/expertise you put into this.
Ok, RF Jugg is the way.
Alright im brand spanking new to the game, and i have absolutely no clue about half the terminology and abbreviations being used, but im gonna try this build 🤣🤣 gonna watch your leveling guide thanks man even the POB is like damn idk what any of this is but imma try it 🤣🤣🤣
I love you man
You're doing a great job
And beside amazing build your attitude that's what makes it even better👍
This is my 1st day and I want to play this game, do you have a video guide how to add the item filter from the beginning? Thanks in advance
RF always a great league starter!
Thanks for the video! What is that pink effect on monsters dying? (End of video)
do you plan to make a guide on chieftain ? i really want to try it and play with ramako sun light i have been playing with pob
That scam happened to me on Diablo back in the day for a “Gull Dagger” a weapon that has 100 magic find. Spammed the Gull canceled and then switched to a regular dagger all the while telling me to “trade quick”
Im so confused, is the pathofbuild outdated? The nodes dont match up
Mega as always! Was considering focusing on Rituals early on this league so maybe I go agane with this version instead of the icicle miner I was considering
Hey Pohx
Im a total POE noob. im at lvl 45 now, and i still can't figure out how not to loose life while RF is active. i noticed you have a play along video which is 5h long, but i dont have the time to watch it all.
could you point out the factors which lets me stay full health while RF is active? would be very appreciated!
thanks a lot for your guidance.
Thank you for this video 😊💪
hi Pohx thank u man for ur efforts
Thank you so much, you’re my game guider
750 hours in this game and I've never NOT played anything but Rauder, Duelist and Ranger, always melee too - I really should try something else but no idea which guide to start with lol
i godt a questen do Victario's Influence, Lacquered Garb work in a righteous fire work or is it onli suport
its great to see you again ) will start inq
ive been loving playing this build for 2 leagues now, but i have an important question to ask that i havent seen be covered, what wildwood ascendency do you suggest would be good to run for Inquisitor for endgame? i was thinking primal for the charms since tinctures would sacrifice flasks, but would love your input on it!
+1 for algorithm
best guide ever
Consecrated path ignite PLEASE...
Another great Guide! Thank you!
i always go delv at the league start witch one of this 2 builds do you think is better for that and awsome video as wellway man grate job :D
hi! two questions pls: 1) why melding of the flesh? what is the benefit pls, i can only see downsides?
Great guide as always :) Got one question, how do you think RF gonna handle new league mechanic ?
what happened too scorthing ray for single dps
@@m.h.4907 I’m playing Earthshatter/cry build berserker, just trying g to figure out how Echoes of war helmet can “auto” cry my 3 cries.
between jugg and the inquis build which one would you choose to go delving with?
thank you a lot for you effort
Always Great content :)
What do you think about chieftan RF with the new rework? Does it come in line with those two other class?
I did a test run today until act 6 and I'm thinking about not doing library as I don't think I'll miss out on a lot of speed as fire trap didn't change much. I also don't have to hazzle around with Dex. Am I very wrong for this? Great build, have beein itching to try out RF for ages but never found a decent build.
guys if i drop a pair of gang's momentum boots are those any good for rf?? Awesome video btw Pohx love the builds!!
Followed this guide and got my Fire resist at the cap and got Hearty and the first 2 points in my ascendancy. Do I need to wait to Pious Path to actually run the build? Currently my health just drains within 30 seconds of activating RF?
Same, I can't move with RF active as my hp goes down, life regen only sustains when I stand still :/ I knew returning to PoE was a bad idea
On inquisitor we dont go for Minion damage?
Hey Pohx. Just wondering, if I were to focus on Delve, would you recommend JUGG over INQUIS? Thanks man.
Aegis aurora is best for endgame ? I have currency for defenses?
Hiiii, firstly thanks for all the guides !!!
I'm having trouble rn , i'm level 35 and running RF since level 15 , I have 190% fire resistance but I'm starting to take damages of RF, any advice ? any reason why I'm taking dmg ? (act 5 not ended yet)
