I’m currently an inquirer at St Ignatius out here in Arizona. This channel has helped me get enough material to learn outside of attending the parish liturgies and vespers. I’m very blessed to have found Orthodoxy so early into my walk with Christ. The only thing tough being new to the faith is learning about Christ, while learning the ceremonial customs, and Church history as well. Thank you for these videos, in Christ ☦️
Actually, to the Catholic suggesting that the Orthodox Church is heretical because it was persecuted ... I would suggest the fact that the Orthodox Church is still thriving and true to the Apostolic Faith is a sign of their fidelity to Christ. I would also add that perhaps if Rome hadn't abandoned the Orthodox faith those persecutions could have been avoided or lessened. Fr. Peter answered this question extremely well, and I hope it gives the poster a new perspective on the matter.
Thank you Fr Heers. I am a Pentecostal who over the last several years has began to dig into the writings of the Fathers. I've also been listening to many orthodox teachers. I've gained much. I was raised with these dispensationalist teachings and now largely reject them. However, what you are describing is what we would call "Dispensational Premillennialism" not Post Millennialism. Post Millennialism as described by well known Reformed ministers like Doug Wilson or James B Jordan actual sounds much more like what you are describing as a correct view of the millennium. Perhaps your team could verify this. Otherwise, thank you for this teaching. Blessings!

Hi Dane!! Continue on your spiritual path, ask questions and read, read, read the lives of the saints.
Beware burnout. And don't hold yourself to the highest standard.
