(HD) **Spa Valley Railway Opens To Eridge** ONBOARD First Public Train!!

26 Years after the line from Tunbridge Wells - Eridge closed in July 1985, The Spa Valley Railway has Re- opened for public service!!!! Here is my Footage of the FIRST public train to run from Tunbridge Wells West - Eridge..... Town crier also puts in a word!!!!

So pleased to be able to visit this splendid little line recently and see all the hard work has paid off. well done youse. It was raining c & d nonetheless I really enjoyed the 'family' atmosphere and the steam trip. must visit again in the sunshine.

Thanks for posting this. I remember commuting on this line in the late 70s early 80s. I remember how grimey the last trains were.

Only thing wrong with this is that it wasn't the class 50 that used to live at Eridge. That would have been epic. The 37 in the background of the opening shot would have been a close second.
