I can’t understand why the Spa Valley can’t negotiate with Southern rail and run onto Uckfield. Because I saw on the local news that the Kent & East Sussex is relaying new track to join up with the rail network at Robertsbridge.

Should be grateful for trains starting from eridge. No agreement can be made to terminate trains from Minehead although all the track is in place

How do they get trains onto the spa valley railway? I thought they come off the southern line but didnt see any points or connections
