My problem is the head of the screw where the Phillips screwdriver fits are stripped. Any suggestions on how to remove the stripped screw? The head of the screw is worn and my Phillips screwdriver just don't remove, turn it now? Thanks.
before buying a screw extractor, try the rubber band method: get a wide rubber band, lay it across the screw head, then push the screwdriver down into the slot . the rubber band will give traction.

Watched this thinking it was about replacing the cartridge.

Should this process stop the shower head from leaking? Thanks!
Is this the process if the shower is not able to use cold water?
unlikely. that sounds like a cartridge problem.
@@threenorns3 Would it be too much trouble to explain What you mean by cartridge problems?
CLR works great, no question, but so does vinegar (use the pickling kind, not the condiment type). takes much longer than seven minutes, tho, lol
Thank you!!
