Lucid needs to pivot HARD. They need to shift immediately to the production of a midsized car and suv in the price range of $50k-85k

I was just on their website (today is 2023-03-29) and there are only 3 available vehicles, so I can't help but think they have a logistics problem. I would think there would be a lot more vehicles that are "Ready to Deliver" on their site if they were just building to have stock on hand. I have had a reservation since December 2021 and a confirmed order as of February 2023. I'm a patient person and can wait. I'd be ecstatic if they lowered prices some, though I did get in at the earlier introductory prices, so I'm not too worried.
They have also said that their third model will be a mid-size car due in 2025 which will be cheaper. Everyone is having a childish reaction to everything they do. They are a luxury brand so comparing them to Toyota or Telsa, which are not, is just ignorant.

"All these Lucid's parked in the hot hot desert sun" Total nonsense, I live a 20 min. drive from Lucid and all winter, and now into spring, we've been much cooler than normal in the 60's, yesterday 76*, today 79* Then tomorrow back down to 60*, next day 66* He clearly doesn't know the reality of the weather here & at Lucid, Bear corrects him on the weather, tells him not to be like a 15 year old girl, good job Bear. What a drama queen nut, I can't watch or listen to him making all these goofy faces.
In November of 2021 the share market was on fire. I think they might been able to sell these at the time especially with the new car shortage and dealerships jacking up the prices by $30K to even $100K over MSRP on some cars.
Lots of assumptions it’s better to wait for their next earnings call which is around the corner and hopefully get an updated game plan and go from there until then I would be a lil patient I wouldn’t go to negative or to positive to be fair

They are cutting in USA but hiring in other countries for international expansion. Soon Saudi factory will be operational.
I had a reservation for a Grand Touring, but cancelled due to mechanical issues, software issues, charging issues, tire blow out issues, system fault issues, and on and on. If a person really does their homework, they will see that Lucid is NOT ready for prime time.
Lucid is at great risk for complete failure. Time to pivot to NKLA. High end EV cars are a luxury and difficult to sell in today's economy with high inflation and recession looming. Nikola class-8 trucks are a necessity. Plus, Nikola is now an energy company as well as a truck manufacture. You do the math.
Sometimes a company sells the price of their product to people who want the world that they have money and status.
What about Insurance , Service , Repair , Charging , Parts , Recalls ?
I will agree with Bear on the price. The Tesla Model S started at a 103,000 price tag. And it was selling in a well improving economy. Also I will say, because I do know this as well. I am a current reservation holder for the Air Pure. And what I found out surprised me a little to explain why there are so many cars on the factory lot. I was at the Design Studio in Oakbrook, Illinois near Chicago, and I found out from one of the sales representatives I am working with told me that some reservation holders are ordering more than one car. She told me that one of the reservations was for 5 Air Sapphires. Which I found surprising. But I do remember a few of your videos back that you were mentioning a lot about delivery issues. That can make or break a problem if it happens for a long period of time. So we need to ask how many reservations holders are out there and how many cars are they ordering. Also too, some could have canceled their orders at the last minute. But this is just a guess. Let's hope Lucid can get out of this. They have a lot of potential. They just need to drop the price on the Air for the time being until they can get things under control.

Thanks for the upload. Peter Rawlinson still sitting on lots of cash, he is not worry. It is the investors mainly the individual investors that are down. You are absolutely right I hope they are not going to come with a new high price model like they did with sapphire. All their models basically have the same body structure ad design. Why anyone wants to pay about 250K because the car runs a little faster and comes in blue. Lets hope Peter watch this channel may be he learn a thing or two.
They need to do a 20% price reduction across the board until they have reduced their inventory by half.
It is simple, they want too much damn money for them. All of us want one but because of the last 3 years, no one can afford them.
Even the big 3 are in deep trouble because they are not selling their number one money maker, trucks.
They all got greedy and now people just are not buying.
Inflation is up. Interest rates are up on loans and vehicles are about 30,000 dollars higher than they should be.
Toyota just a car company? Maybe you should look into that!
If they start stacking up Pures then they have a problem. But, they could ship all those in the lot to China and sell them all in a day.

At a MSRP of $250K for a Sapphire, they're still losing money!
Sapphire is a different story, it's fine for what it is it'll spank 99% of the vehicles out there. They need to sell something in the 60-80k range ASAP.
Sapphire can spank all the vehicles in the world... but it still cost Lucid significantly more to build than the MSRP/transaction price. Thinking Lucid can build a car for $60-80k and make money when they can't build and sell a car at $150k and make money isn't going to happen.
They are slowly losing any advantage they have. Tesla will be moving to 1000 volt architecture as of Cybertruck release, 48v wiring, already Tesla are introducing their efficient hairpin motor. Lucid software is not as good as Tesla. No supercharger network. The acres of cars is evidence Lucid is on the steep dive to bankruptcy.
Has anyone confirmed that they still getting money from Saudi Arabia? Just a thought...
