Bravo et merci infiniment pour ce bijou musical. Ma fille de 2 ans vous écoute tous les soirs pour s'endormir et je rêve d'assister a l'un de vos concerts. Votre musique apporte la paix dans les coeurs.
When I lived in Istanbul, Turkey during the 1960s, I heard many genres of music, Turkish, French, English, Italian, etc. I knew then that the world would be united by music. It is the universal language. Since then, I have lived in India [8 years] and Japan [one summer]and Hawaii [14 years] and California [4 years]. Now I fully embrace all good music, including European classical and Euro-pop, Gypsy Jazz manouch, Bossa nova, Hawaiian, Jazz, Mo-town, etc.
I am praying that we can all learn to live together with the same harmony these two play together. What a blessing this is...my soul needed this release today.
sadly, people who want to control others don't have the capacity to partner, that is why "liberals" need to be challenged with thought and reason,,,, continuously! After a hard day of doing that, be at peace and thought with this beautiful music.
Quel magnifique duo, c'est toujours un plaisir de les voir jouer ensemble. Une connexion pleine de grâce, de poésie et une complicité toute en pudeur. J'adore !
Imagine it’s the 14th century and you live in the city of Timbuktu. You just finished a long day of hard work and you walk into a tavern and hear this majestic music.
@@yanjtian1514 Dance & poetry, yes. Alcohol, no. There was no time, no peak period where alcohol was consumed openly in Islamic Timbuktu. Perhaps you're equating Timbuktu with Konya or Balkh at that time. There was never an embrace of wine even among the Sufis of West Africa. Maybe they weren't fundamentalist in their approach to alcohol, but they were certainly ascetic and rejected the intoxicating liquid.
Ballake's connection with his instrument is so beautiful ! It is like an extension of his soul. Also, the way they blend each other craft is the epitome of pure friendship a mutual admiration. Thank the universe for this !

European instrument meets African instrument over Turkish music. Being Turkish is living in this metaphor, honestly. Having a place at modern western world and the hereditary coming from east...
Oh si si, la musica une el alma de todos los seres humanos independiente de la cultura y sus politicas.Por eso sostengo que la musica es un lenguaje universal. desde Argentina gracias por esta entrega

Sissoko, in family with Solo Sissoko? Same instrument, same healing vibe, same last name. If you are, then thank you, from the bottom of my heart and soul.
