Narrie Dodson - A Baton Rouge, Louisiana Native’s Journey to Manhattan College
Narrie Dodson will be receiving her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership this Spring from Manhattan College after playing two seasons on the schools women’s basketball team. Narrie received her undergraduate degree in Sports Management at Towson University where she also played on the school’s basketball team.
Narrie reflects on the important moments in her college days, many of which involve the relationships she developed with her teammates and other students, her love of mentoring younger players, some of the courses she took that impacted her understanding of different aspects of sports, and the diversity of people she met while at Manhattan.
Her career goals are to stay in basketball as a director of basketball operations for a team and to play professionally overseas. It’s go time for Narrie and her teammates as they will soon compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament aiming to be champions.
