Croatia’s Nika Muhl - In the Series: Around the World in America

Nika Muhl, a proud citizen of Croatia, passionate about her home country, came to the United States four years ago to play college basketball at the University of Connecticut (UConn), one of the premiere college basketball programs in the United States.
Nika had a wonderful career at UConn, known for her tough defense and tough mindedness, and her playmaking ability as the team’s point guard.
Her play on the court and her warmth and engaging personality off the court have endeared her to UConn fans whom adore her. Nika interacts with her fans in a warm and friendly way.
Nika now plays for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA who drafted her in April 2024.
When the Storm came to New York recently, Nika took the time to tell us about Croatia, the allure of coming to the U.S., and the adjustments she had to make living in the U.S.
