Dear sir, great job on this and kudos to you! I also have gs1100 but no spark on cylinder 2 and 3.i tested the coil and both are fine. I have electronic ignition(no points), where do I check from here?
mabey the cdi box it had to remember since I had to look directly at the manual and i did not have issiues with any components
