I've commuted on this scooter for 3 years and its ready for the scrap yard If I'm honest. With time on my hands and in need of a project to keep myself busy, I've decided to save poor old Rupert. Join me in this video series where this 2012 Vespa S 50 2T will be saved and hopefully admired! I'm tackling everything myself - sandblasting, painting, electrics the lot!
I am NO expert by any means! Just a bloke with some spanners, half an idea of what I'm doing, a supportive wife and a daft dog who insists on being in every video.
Straight to the point, all killer - no filler and some banging tunes along the way!
Part 1.
Need to get it running properly then tear it down to parts and the restoration begins. It has always ran like a bag of $hit if I'm honest but with the scooter being located away from home while I was working, I've never really had the opportunity to really dig in to the problems. I found the issue in this video and it really caught me, certainly not what you'd expect!
