Great reaction 👍 This concert was their 35th Anniversary Tour filmed in Poland. There are several other songs from this concert that are worth reacting to. Hydra and I'll be over you for sure
I am ever so pleased to see your excitement for Toto's music. I've been a fan since I first heard their debut album the summer I turned 14. There is a lot of their music to explore and there's an eclectic mix of styles. They play rock, pop, jazz, fusion, prog/rock, country, blues, soul, cinematic, etc. They took the route of the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles when it comes to vocalist. Toto's debut album had four different lead vocalists. For most of their releases they have at least two different lead vocalists. As for other performances you can check out, I would say that you should check out the song "Hydra" from this same live 35th Anniversary concert in Poland. Fantastic prog rock style of song with incredible structure and playing that should blow away any musician that appreciates high level musicianship.
Jeff Porcaro, the drummer, is still fiercely missed by his fellow musicians….all these years later. Phenomenal musician, and from what I’ve heard, a stellar human being.
Agreed, Jeff Porcaro was the GOAT, but just to point out to others maybe not in the know, the drummer featured here in the video is "Simon Phillips", who took over after Jeff died in 1992 and was Toto's drummer until sometime in 2013. Simon's drumming resume is also very impressive and worth checking out.
The guitarist is Steve Lukather He is known as one of the best guitarist of all time. My favourite Toto song is”I’ll be over you” sung by Steve All Toto songs are from the old day. 3 of the original members of that band has passed away. The original band leader was Jeff Porcaro died at 36 and today he is still remembered as one of the best drummers, musician still talk about him. Please do an old version of “I’ll be over you”. Also most of the musicians in Toto 2024 is new even Steve has left. No doubt they are good but fans then to like the original lineup.
Steve has left?? I know he’s doing solo stuff and in Ringo’s All-star Band…but I thought he was still in charge of putting together musicians for a Toto tour……..If they’re even touring anymore.
Well….Jeff Porcaro is considered one of the best of all time, but isn’t known to the general public as much because he was mainly a top LA studio drummer. Lukather, the guitarist, is one of the best…..I’d say top 20….but again often overlooked (not a household name, if you will) because he was mainly a studio player and Toto didn’t really allow him to show off his rock skills because it was not a a guitar-based rock band, like Zep or Sabbath or ….heck, , I could list 30 more. But he WAS on Michael Jackson’s Thriller album, which is a major claim to fame. He played rhythm guitar….Van Halen did the solo on the title track.
Great song but I’m needing a Queen fix. One song (3 separate videos) you should really react to is Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986. There is the regular video and then there is a multicam video focusing on Roger Taylor’s performance (he said this was his toughest song) and a multicam video focused on John Deacon’s performance. This first video showcases all the members playing their best. You won’t regret watching them.

He played bass and all the guitars except the solo on beat it, and on most of the guitars on the rest of the thriller album. But he played on more the 1500 albums as a guitarist/bassist/pianist. So he is much more then thriller
Well, yeah…they were all at the top of their field because they were all top studio players….and you sure as HELL didn’t get to be a top-tier LA studio player unless you were in the top .5 %
It’s a shame about what you said about the teaching of music over there. I cannot speak to the curriculum of American music schools, but inDO know that the Berklee School of Music in Boston has had master classes given by some of these players.
Go down the rabbit hole with this band, and especially this gig.

GOTTA clap on the 2 and 4! 😁
Plz do the prettiest ballad ever .toto I won't hold you back
React on their Jake to the Bone or Falling in between
Don’t forget that these guys were Michael Jackson’s studio band for Thriller.
Makes more sense why that's an incredible album

That sounds wonderful!
You should watch the music video, not a live performance.
We watch live performances because it teaches us way more about their abilities!
We learn nothing from a music video.
@@MoreMeetArthurGreat reaction. And yes, allways react to Totos live version.
