I keep thinking it's Meat Arthur 😂 But I actually like Meet Arthur as a band name. Other Stereophonics favorites: "Superman" "Local boy in the photograph" "A thousand trees", "Cest la vie" (greatst video) and "Rooftop". Kelly Jones is just extremely good and he knows it. I can't belive he had to have that voice chord surgery, he still sounds incredible, but you can tell the difference. There is a very good documentary about it somewhere.

This is my wife’s favourite band! I’ve always been unsure if I’m a fan or not. On paper, their songs are brilliant - especially the first two albums but I’ve never really been a massive fan. It’s almost like they’re almost at that tipping point of sounding manufactured or over produced! Not enough rawness or aggression. Can’t precisely put my finger on it and perhaps it’s just a personal taste thing but whilst I really like some of their songs, I’ve never felt passionate about them. Great band though!

They formed as they were there in 1971. They were all in bands earlier and brian and Roger formed a band called Smile. Freddie joined and they became Queen, then deajky joined.

Queen didnt agree to perform till the last minute so the audience were not all Queen fans. This is said to be the Greatest Rock Performance of all time.

i watched Live Aid on TV as i was working. I have been a fan since 1973. I have loved them ithat long. So happy you can see why.

im a queen fan of 51 years and i love Adam Lambert. His voice is technically better than Fred and he is flamboyant in his own way. He is wonderful.

the romour goes that the reason The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was not realeased on the BBC in 1968 when it was filmed, and in fact not released until 1996 was that the Who's performance was so brilliant that it upstage the Stones, and the film got shelved because of this. Mick Jagger didn't like how weak the Stones sounded during their performance at The Circus, compared to The Who. Wow, upstaged at your own show.

If you like this music, you should check out their original music. I would recommend Uninspired, but the whole album is great!

Definitely worthy of the 90 score - I got the goosebumps factor so probably would’ve gone 93 just for the voice! Incredible performance and although I’m aware of him through my old man, I’ll definitely be digging out the back catalogue cos this sounds incredible! Appreciate the vid lads 👍

Back then Liam hated and mostly refused to do acoustic performances. Imagine if Liam knew how to control his vocal like he does now. But still a great performance.

Alex went from cool indie kid to cool 50s rocker, to this which is new French girlfriend and love of Serge Gainsburg and other heros from the 1970. I look forward to him making good rock songs like this again. Or anything somewhat exciting

Don't know if you know but the female singer in the video is D C Lee who married Paul Weller in 1987. They have 2 children together but divorced in 1998. She has her own solo career as well as collaborating with several other artists over the years. Lee had her biggest solo hit "See The Day" in 1985.
