You can’t beat those 9770 and 9870 machines. Our issue is that we’re pounding out 1000 hrs per year. My goal was to not be a mini John Deere service department, but you still do. Stuff gets damaged. I had a corn head get totaled this year by an operator who was always in a hurry to outrun the grain carts and trucks, so he could sit on his phone while waiting. I’m always fixing something, warranty doesn’t cover stupid.
Glad to see you again! Always enjoyed your channel….fairly decent crops here in nc ks. Same here dry fall and below average crop moistures! 7% beans 11% milo& corn! Those are great machines, I had a 9670 but went to s760. Hate the def and excessive emissions on it…..have a great harvest…
Heck ya! You by far make some of the best farming UA-cam content! Our spring and summer was so wet we didn’t get done with 1st crop til mid July. Our corn grew very good, but then we got 4in of hail and destroyed all the leaves and quarter of the stalk. Not good for chopping.
@yourlocalfarmer1201 thank you very much - I sincerely appreciate the kind words! .... that stinks, a guy can't win this year - low prices are the worst part ...
@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling Going well so far. Did some early corn and about finished up with beans. Yields are excellent in the Creston area even with the wet spring and dry summer. Harvest going fast with the dry weather
@jackweeks8099 Ha - I told you'd I'd be back 😆 ... I love putting up hay, but marketing it is horrible- it's a poor alternative crop .... definitely will have more videos on the 8960!
Oh yeah, thats a nice combine. Im now in the combine market since my super clean 6620 titan 2 sidehill had to start on fire with one round of beans left to go, rented a neighbors 9570 and liked it for corn but way to pricey for me. Have ended up looking at a 93 9500 with low hours, new tires all the way around and the whole green star spectrum of technology. Also have been cleaning up a 73 model 4430 that is turning out really nice.
@kolewiebensohn always great to hear from you! ... sorry to hear that - I am hearing about a lot of machines burning this fall - not good - just so dry..... we had a 1989, first year 9500 and a 1997 final year 9500, the later serial number machine was shre improved ... and i think they got even better on the 10 series thereafter .. happy hunting - and have a safe rest of harvest
@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling Yeah it's a clean one, biggest thing is that it has three speed throttle. Only have 10 acres of a late planted corn thats a late number so it'll be a couple weeks yet.
Glad to see your back! Keep em coming
Holy shit looks who’s back! Thought maybe you were thrown in a “camp” in an undisclosed location… glad you’re safe and good
Just being suppressed by Gobble overlords.

Great to see something from you! I’ve heard a guy say once that you’ll never get rich farming hay. And I hope to see a video on that 4wd!

Did YT demonetize your channel for waiting so long to post new content ?
I happened to my wife's channel
No, at least not yet they haven't... that stinks, Google is getting worse and worse about that kind of stuff
