- Here’s another pixel scene featuring my avatar stopping off at a sci-fi jungle food stand, at a resolution of 160x144px with limited colour palette. Watch through to see the completed animated version with text and sound effects; really happy with how it came out!

I commissioned the music in this video from these fantastic artists:

This stuff is like catnip for the eyes
So, weed for the eyes
my heart can't stand all of these cute little detailsss ahhhhhhh, love the concept very much. ;-; the grilla name too ayyy xD
I like the idea that Grilla is wearing a tie. Like he understands that it makes you look more professional but he has no context that it doesn’t really work in his profession.
Seriously all these videos have been so helpful for me! I recently decided that my game would use pixel art just to limit myself from wasting too much time on the art so all of your videos have been instrumental in getting me off the ground in pixel art.
You make it look so damn easy! Good job man
Thanks! I'm using your videos to develop art for a game in a post apocalyptic techno-nature setting. This is perfect!
Waylon Flinn That’s so cool!
Your videos inspire me to make pixel art one again! You've earned yourself a new subscriber! And the art looks spectacular!
I know it's only been years, but looking at this video, I can tell how far this channel has gone! I've discovered this about half a year ago looking for help doing a commission and only been watching a lot just recently, and so far I've been loving everything!
I'm steadily building up the lore such as Nano's name, Jace's appearance, the Opening theme, CR Tea Time, and more. It's always a blast~
I have been watching all of your vids! Amazing stuff! Noticed you were using the magic wand tool to select the areas of the same color, you can do this faster by clicking in the top menu in photoshop: 'Select > Color Range...' then with the eye drop tool pick the color on your canvas and it will make a section of all those with the same color!!! I'm sure you've figured this out by now, but if not, enjoy! :)
You are a respecting person
brandon i really love your videos! your pokemon style analysis video got me to try pixel art for the first time a few days ago and i am so happy with it. i really enjoy it and i also really enjoy your content, it's very inspiring. please keep it up! you help out so many artists like me!!!
Did anyone else envision Grilla's voice as kind of gravelly, but also pretty friendly?
This guy: Good at Pixel Art, Excellent at Dad Jokes
Who else is seeing this in 2021 and thinking of how cool his old into music was?
Incredible < 3
THERE'S ALWAYS MONEY IN THE BANANA STAND
Love your content! You make high quality videos and you're great at explaining your process as you go along. Can you make a video where you kind of explain some of your Photoshop workflow? Like what tools do you use and how do you make pixel art efficiently with Photoshop? What are some tips and tricks that you can share?
Hey thanks so much! Though about this before but wasn't sure how many people out there are Photoshop users for pixel art; it's a good idea for a vid though - I'll add it to the list!
@@BJGpixel I use Photoshop due to having it to use play around with.
It would be great to create a game based on your designs... I'm in for it for sure!
This looks amazing, this video inspired me to make my own pixel art
Top notch as always
So awesome. I hope i get this good some day
Can you do a tutorial on animating in photoshop? I always manage to screw up the active layers and I don't know where I'm going wrong
Yes I'd like to do that! If you don't mind sharing, what kinds of issues do you run into? Might help me in crafting a tutorial
@@BJGpixel Well I struggle with everything but my animation never look smoother
can you explain how you're able to change all the colours of the specific grey value? I see you colour swab between the palettes but its not clear how you change all the same grey to a yellow.
Everything was excellent. Now for a noob question. Why use so many layers?
I love it, it's adorable
that's cool and all but is there money in this banana stand?
I came to the comments to find this reference
woooow, super bro! ^_^
maybe this is a sequel to the previous monkey game, and this one is released on gameboy color or advance
A practical question, what tablet are you using to draw?
or are you drawing with a mouse?
This is embarrassing, but I honestly use my laptop trackpad lol. And sometimes keyboard assistance, like holding Shift to maintain a straight line
@@BJGpixel Wow that's great! I myself found it easier to use a mouse rather than a drawing tablet even though i have one for pixelart, and i thought it was strange. Also, i love what you do, the pixel art is mindblowing!
@@BJGpixel you really just use trackpad and without any pen? wow thats hardcore, you are pure talented man
Oh my god, HAHAHAHAH. When I first watched the video and he was talking about the man at the grill, I thought he said "griller" in a really weird way. Turns out he said "gorilla"... I can't get that unintentional wordplay out of my head HAHAHAHA
Edit: I guess it was *kinda* intentional, as he named him "Grilla" anyway, but still...
Hey, Brandon.
Anytime you would experiment with the CGA color palette?
Hey I really like your videos. It really great help. Maybe sometime you can make tutorial how to animate the scenes like you did every time. And you did it in photoshop i guess? As a newbie. I really want to know the process behind it
do you do these with a mouse?
What version of adobe photoshop is this?
This is epic, why does this video have like 2 views
this made me think of starbound
How you have low resolution when looking at pixels
"grills stuff on a grill"
ye but where else do you grill stuff?
Dimensioni per realizzare pixart da poi postare su Instagram?
I can't even draw a damn pixel.
make a non pixel art
aka a drawing
