Yes, if and when I win the lottery this would be my first port of call, even would pay for the large screen, great video 👍

I have just brought a Mercedes e Vito tourer with the 100kw battery. I have a model S and have owned many EV’s. I am so impressed with it. The range is understated and even though max charge is 110kw it holds a very high level throughout the charging process. It is so comfortable and smooth. With the reclining rear seats ect the family want to travel in it all the time now, which suits me a it definitely my preferred drive now. Getting 240/250 on the motorway journeys and estimated 285 around town. The regen paddles with virtually one pedal driving around town with the ability to freewheel on the motorway is brilliant. Merc really do seem to be mastering the technology.

Another great video of an extraordinary EV. I thought your review was excellent, clear and objective, including the surprising downsides at the end. I do agree with your point about the technology in this, and other big expensive new EV's gradually filtering down into smaller, more affordable ones and will be very interested to see what the C and A class versions cost when they finally get released to market.
In the meantime I'll continue to enjoy my Kona EV - nowhere near as luxurious as the EQS, but only a third of the price and it's giving me over 300 miles of range at this time of year. Maximum regen makes a big difference I've found.

A fair review. Like you said no car is perfect and I thank you for allowing us to know what are the real weaknesses. The screen glare is a huge safety issue IMO.

@ 8:50 the drinks holders spin inside that unit so don't need to be removed to get access to the wireless charging

How much did the charge near the start of your video cost if you don’t mind me asking? This is a very lovely car, unfortunately most people can’t afford it 😤

Great video! Mercedes just won’t produce the numbers that Tesla will, like all the other car companies won’t sell on mass either.Keep up with your videos.

Wow that range with that size battery is amazing. its not even double my leaf plus battery yet gets almost more than double the range! This is fantastic news. the 400mile gotta have it or ill die range the gasholes bitch about constantly is here. Tesla better look out these luxury legacy EV's are blowing the teslas outta the water

Love the car, would have to sell mine and motorhome plus a big lump to buy, but can always dream. Certainly agree, madness having to remove drinks tray to access phone charge point, what were they thinking about?

Hello James very good video. I just have a question about an old video : Tesla Model 3 Performance - 3 Weeks - 5 Problems. It's about the wind noise of your Tesla. I have mine since 2 years and I have the same problem. I brought my car 4 times in two different service center and they never found the problem. Did you found the problem or a solution about this ? Many thanks.

Hi. Yes. They altered the run of the glass by adjusting the window regulator and that solved it.

The big Merc is always the benchmark for what will filter down; I don’t think one of the customers for this will care one jot if a Tesla will outdrag it. Just can’t take my eyes off those ghastly air vents though…

Sound engineering and manufacturing. Ugly design inside and out. Standard screens better than hyperscreen though.

The aero and efficiency vs weight - this certainly sets the bar for new EV designs. Double glass everywhere - I can’t imagine how quiet it was to drive or ride in. The brakes sound scary for a heavy car. Hope that MB gets that pedal action sorted in short order.

Man seeing your videos after a very long time! Hope all has been well. great video. This is a very promising car. And as a Tesla owner and fan for years myself, I am getting tired of Tesla because of their horrendous customer service and their awful CEO who is turning into a bigger douche bag with each passing day. So I am very much open to alternatives to Tesla and this looks promising.
