hey Matt I'm so glad to see you're making videos again can you make a video on these newer cars front window strips with all the matrix dots thank you for all the information you provide us
I’m gonna have to start shrinking windows like you. It looked so much faster, and as we all know.... time is money in the world of tinting. Thank you for the video.
I didn't know why I ended up watching a guy tint windows in the first place, but I gotta say your process is fantastic, congrats! Job so well done that I watched to the end.
Haha thank you very much! I end up down the UA-cam rabbit hole pretty often and it's nice to be on the other end of that. I really liked this comment 😊
TintStuff Hey Matt what is your opinion of Tint Depot and the tint they sell ? If you have heard of them beofre. I'm goimg to make a large purchase from them and was wondering if your familiar with the quality of their tint, they have good prices, however; I cant find reviews for them online. Btw my names Matt as well, great name 😃
how much does the plotter and glass boards cost? That looks real easy using the two and you probably don't get as much contaminates you have to pull the tint up to remove when you are laying it down.
Would a “DOUBLE-SIDED MOBILE MAGNETIC GLASS MARKER BOARD” work as a peel board? Definitely need some help if you hav any recommendations for a peel board. Your content is great 👍🏽
how do you cut the front that has been in the heat gun using the ploter so that you can directly trace it to the windshield without cutting it manually
I usually cut out by hand and just place templates on car windows and shrink from there after machine cut. Much faster to cut out all the patterns and place on each glass
does computer cut always leave a light gap on the sides ? @10:36 thats at least 1/4 inch and after that when cleaning the glass you kept looking at it.
Hi I have questions. Graphtec Plus CE6000-120 48 Inch. That machine is working the suntek software ? I'm looking for car window tint film culture. Please help me. Thank you
Where can one purchase the Computer Cut Software. I tried looking online and only found Solar Guard selling it but wouldn't let me send a request form for some reason. Thanks
How do you tint glass that's curved much more than that? I feel like taking it from a straight glass board to the door doesn't make sense in my head, how's it going to conform to the window well? o.o
Also, in your endevours did y ou even consider a cutter for vinyl decals or even a printer for car wrapping business designs? I'm trying to get into that world but there's such limited info, i'm finding it hard to find someone I can talk to that will expand my knowledge of it all. That cutter looks bloody awesome, what did that set you back?
Hey Matt is this the plotter you would recommend? Do you have any idea the best one for tint and ppf? Also are there plotters that will cut the actual shape out for you? Still learning about this. Thanks in advance!
Hey what’s up my man I have my own tint shop , I’m not into the glass board much , but I want to try it , where can I find one ? That will be so helpful !
i appreciate the videos..I learned from your videos i think back in 2012 or something but I am still struggling with wrinkles when heat shrinking windows and rear window. Am I not suppose to use water to tact the film when doing so? i feel its causing me alot of creases. I wish I had money to take a training course so I can start my business.
+Ricky Q I've noticed the same thing! I actually edited the part out where I rounded off the top corners because the driver's side window pattern curls up. I've seen it on quite a few vehicles. Tinttek was the most consistent but took a while to get some new patterns. It's been a while since I've used it but honestly they all have drawbacks. And don't ever count on accurate windshields lol
could you please recommend a affordable plotter and everything I need with it? I see a nice man near my city that spent some time showing me shrink techniques and he was using a GCC machine but not sure what sfotware he was using
@@DetroitTintStudio That lens is phenomenal! I'm Aaron by the way. I'm the video guy for Flexfilm. I also use the Sigma 18-35mm but on a Canon C100 Mk II. I use a 7D Mk II as my B camera. Just thought I'd comment and see what camera you are using. Thought it might have been a Panasonic GH5. Keep up the good work, Matt!
+Reges Castro here ya go! amzn.to/2EiXoWH I've seen people use shorter sections and also wrap the tape around metal rods so they sit on the seal and you can reuse them.
+JBIRD575 thanks! I'm totally new to trying it but it doesn't seem that difficult once you know what to do. I've talked to a few guys and have a better understanding of the few popular methods. I hope to have a better explanation in my next video
TintStuff I tried it shaved with blade first them heated it real good first..this one guy taught me use a seperate bottle with little alcohol and light soap for top edge works great dries fast....the key to file is have it dry
I cannot believe that people worry about water getting on their inner door panel. Do they not use their vehicles when it's raining or snowing in fear of moisture touching their precious interior? haha
Great to see you doing videos again. I noticed that you are trying to file the edges of the glass. There is a trick to doing it and it takes some figuring out to accomplish but always looks super pro once you get it down. there is a youtube tinter, TreyTints, that shows and explains how to shave and Micro Edging windows but his videos are kinda hidden and not really great but the guys really professional at tinting. Hey man, nice to see you again.

Where can I get one of those big Glass boards for my shop! It looks so easy to work on rather than cutting and risking a cutomer’s vehicle.
Interesting shrinking method, never heard of doing it that way before. Does the plotter method save you quite a bit of time?
+Kansas Country as a 1 man show it really doesn't save much time but with a assistant it definitely can. I'll go into further details on plotters.
TintStuff awesome. I'm looking forward to it!
Plotters look cool. Might have to see if my boss will fork out the money for one lol. I usually shrink on the door itself so you get the curve right.
how much does the plotter and glass boards cost? That looks real easy using the two and you probably don't get as much contaminates you have to pull the tint up to remove when you are laying it down.
i tell you men i love watching your video all ways learn something NEW

Nice heat shrink method. You use tinttek?
+Ricky Q I love tinttek but in this video I'm using a software called computer cut.
I’m using computer cut too. Top edge is so so. Planning to switch either tinttek or film vinyl. What do you recommend
