Some producers not mentioned that made very good industrial hardcore: Armageddon Project, The Relic/Zanthrax/Cubic Nomad, Catscan, Broken Rules, Dep Affect, Rude Awakening (aka Promo) and Mindustries. I do hope you make a separate video about Darkcore and Doomcore.
There was really a major change around 2011-2012 in industrial hardcore. It coincided with the popularity of brostep and drum 'n bass. There wasn't a single industrial hardcore producer who didn't uses extensive snares and breaks. From that point onward, there was crossbreed, with more crossing into jungle/drum 'n bass with every year. Industrial as 4-to-the-floor, faded away. Still, I go back to those days before, when industrial went full-mechanical distortion: Rude Awakening - Revolting Against Peaky Pounder - Fasttalking Delta 9 - From Darkness Frame Of Mind - Cruel Sense Of Waste Armageddon Project - Far Beyond Triumphants Zanthrax - Children Of Hell Broken Rules - Bedroom Traxx (Dep Affect Remix) Sei2ure - Assault Catscan - Clone 1 Mute - Misery In Motion Cubic Nomad - Revolt Moleculez - Covert Ops Mindustries - Throes Of Rejection
Great video, it's important to present Industrial to new crowds, since it's dying out (e.g. no Industrial stage at Thunderdome last year). I recommend you to also do videos about the history of Terror and history of Frenchcore :) ♥

Awesome, been a while since I hoped a channel like this popped, and I still didn't do it myself so^^ It's true that the the Enzyme sound is dead, long live Enz-Prototypes^^ I suggest nostalgic people to look out for Remain Silent tracks, all of them, there are not that much, and he seems to be at best on a long pause. It's a japanese artist, formerly Morita Yuuhei, who grew up with Enzyme apparently, and he did beats of tracks that mixed purist Enzyme and 2010's Dark Descent atmospheres, in a country where industrial almost doesn't exist (only him and Engage Blue for what I know, that I really dig for his doomcore alias Diffuse more than Engage Blue tracks). But well, now, actually, in pure post-enzyme fashion, we got Nanostorm! Currently, with 2020 - 2023 in mind and without the UK hardcore and "pure-crossbreed" guys and girls, my current Industrial faves would be, no order: Machinist (less known, small label, you'll never find more raw and straight to the point indus than him) Zerberuz Djipe / Spare Limbs (Nagazaki too, not far) TOA Strange Arrival Ophidian The Silence eDUB Katharsys / Prime Directive Cubic Nomad Also loving some Adamant Scream, Relapse, Somniac One, Tripped and most recent Iridium! Great albums from Embrionyc, Shatterling and Fracture 4, arguably too separated from indus now, but in all 3 cases the 2012 - 2016 (or so) era of Dark Descent is my all-styles-favorite, thanks to a lot of their tracks, so none of it recreated the same magic. All bangers I highly recommend tho, if you love the melodic side. Albums from Djipe, Ophidian and The Silence are total pieces of art. I thought I was aware of about everything in the scene but I'm actually discovering the artists from the last recent labels you mentionned, they seem really great too!
Industrial is the best hardcore. Love the video man and all the others. To me Industrial has always been the opposite of uptempo and both split in the 2000s one trying to be as hard as it can with speed and high frequencies and the other is trying to be more experimental and focus on rhythm, complexity and heavier kicks.
Bakalla, nihil fist, igoa, anc, USN, totschläger, terrormasta, cenobit, tense, usw. Danke jungs das war richtig geil!
as someone who loves industrial hardcore way too much, (thinking about producing the genre in the future) i have to say, thanks. even though, it didn't get into the details like what label carried the genre to become more popular, or other stuff, i still appreciate the video (i have to admit that i didn't know about 3 labels that were mentioned lmao). its actually sad that industrial hardcore is a genre that gets less attention than other subgenres of hardcore. (ps: the memes were funny, maybe thats because my humor is broken.)
@@Mindprinter honestly, pro mode feels like the worst for pitching kick tails imo, tones mode at lowest sample rate works best for me when I use distorted tails, and typically for more dynamic tails but sometimes I use textures for the more classic hardstyle tails, really depends, when pitching down sometimes I turn off warping etc etc, but pro is good for vocals
