Hello Adriel. I buy these online from taxidermy companies. You can find all these companies by googling "glass eyes taxidermy." The best site for eyes is from the UK however, www.glasseyes.com. They also sell glass "blanks" so you can paint the back with whatever colors you choose. After sculpting with paper mache pieces I add a "skin" of cloth (old bed sheets...I prefer white for filming, but it doesn't matter if there is a color or pattern since it gets painted anyway) dipped in white glue (I prefer Elmer's Glue All). This is light, adds a lot of strength and allows for detail that is hard to achieve with just paper. If you are interested in my techniques go to my blog, www.PaperMacheBlog.com, where you can see many projects made step-by-step with commentary. And I will always answer questions should you need more help. Good luck!

Thanks for just being you !!!!

Grandioso trabajo!!! Me encantaría saber que materiales utilizas, si usas vendas de yeso o que tipo de tela es esa que moldeas tan fácilmente. Muchas gracias
+Rosalee Glenn I just don't think of dragons as friendly. I think to be "realistic" it wouldn't be friendly looking. I did make a cute little dragon for my children's book however. I just don't have a video of that one. Thanks for the note. Dan
You are too funny Jay. But I should tell your heart and your head that you can indeed do this. If you look at the photos on my site that have been sent to me by people who thought like you did. And look at what they made! So could you, Trust me.
pretty talented actual! Can you do some more thing like things because this is a good Paper Mache Dragon!! I liked how you done a coat of paper each time! I hope you do best on your other videos you've done CX Also just saying but im not trying to be rude but tbh i rather more shading on the horns?Im not sure if people agree with me but i like shade to make more affect and realistic look on the dragon for a cool type please?
Glad you like the dragon. I do various shadings on horns. But I wanted these to be a bit cleaner. It's all artistic preference. Thanks for the comment.
Dan thank you so much. I started last night a new mold on a car roof. I layered 5 layers of paper with Mod Podge. But it is still not stiff. Is there a way to make Paper Mache stiff, like hard surface? I know it will never be like fiberglass. But I'd like it to be hard and stiff. Is there any way? thanks!
+Gorilla Jones If you use white glue instead of flour and water paste it will very stiff when it is dry. It will wrinkle up a bit however, but you can smooth that out later. Good luck!
+GourmetPaperMache Great, guess 5 layer is not enough then as it is still quite flexible using Mod Podge which is basically Elmers white glue like substance. I will try using 10 layer instead. Maybe I will lay one layer of fiberglass in the middle for stiffness. Thank you again for your quick responses, it is much appreciated. Keep up the great art!

You are so Awesome -- Sauce !! Smooches. I normally do not like dragons, but I am drawn to your work and it's carefulness and detailed accuracy, color blending. We need vid from you on just blending and creating colors. And of course who could not luv luv your dad's fav breakfast. I'm sure he was a hoot. You have so much talent and artisticness. Would it be rude to ask if you could consider producing a how to on a fearsome but friendly looking swan in Paper mache ? i'd luv to c what your rendition would be..You know huge wings and claws but soft beautiful face ??? Thanks for just being you !!!!
+Mercedes Freeman
You are very sweet Mercedes. Thank you for this very nice note! I just do art because it feeds me the right way (if you know what I mean). I do love pulling things out of thin air. I'm sure that's true of every artist on the planet. That's an interesting idea about the swan. Who knows. Maybe.
Thanks again. Take care
Dan
This is really out of this world.. I wish to learn from you sir. I really am.
Amir Syariff Glad you like this Amir. If you are interested in my techniques you can see more on my blog (www.papermacheblog.com). And I have how-to books on my website. gourmetpapermache.com/about-my-books/

Congratulations on your very good work to his art ... looking at his work managed to learn a few more things does not compare with what you do ... Congratulations again to stay that way .. If you can tell me the materials you use would be grateful
Jhonatan Nascimento
Thanks Jhonatan. This is paper mache, flour and water paste and newspaper. After I sculpt with that I add a skin of cloth dipped in white glue.
Dan
Oh wow..You just get better and better at it I am blown away by the details and energy you put into your art. Wonderful cause as well and every childrens hospital should have one of your creatures :) xxx

Dan
Grandioso trabajo!!!
The moment u realise stick figures just don't cut it anymore
Funny! Thanks for watching!
Love your dragons, love your beautiful Abby or Bengal helper, proud of your foundation.
Thank you very much on all counts! You are very kind.
I enjoy you paper mache. I just wish they didn't have to look so scaring. I would love to see you do a friendly but realistic looking dragons.
+Rosalee Glenn
I just don't think of dragons as friendly. I think to be "realistic" it wouldn't be friendly looking. I did make a cute little dragon for my children's book however. I just don't have a video of that one. Thanks for the note.
Dan
Beautiful. What I find frustrating thought, is. My heart tells me I could make that. But my head tells me I couldn't. Or is it the other way round 🙁
Thanks for the comment.
wow that is amazing! i guess if your an artist any material will do.
You are very kind. Thank you!
Perfect job!! Congratulations!! What do you use to do the eyes?? They are really great!
F-J Entretenimento
Thank you. I use taxidermy eyes. In this case I bought "blanks" and painted them myself.
Dan

I want a dragon so bad and to know it's for a cause what u do it is very special.
I'm very flattered, Thank you for the nice comment Lyzzy!
Wonderful. Please let me know what the white "cloth" you are using? Is it cloth? Paper? Wonderful.
Is there any way?
thanks!
+Gorilla Jones
If you use white glue instead of flour and water paste it will very stiff when it is dry.
+Gorilla Jones
Sounds like a great project. Best of luck to you!
Dan
Hi Friend, thanks for sharing your technique, type of fabric apology is with which you cover, and what material do teeth, thanks for the reply and congratulations for your work, and regards the cat
netosotelo
Hello Netosotelo. I use old bed sheets for the "skin". And I use Fimo for the teeth.
Good luck
Dan
GourmetPaperMache gracias, puedo encontrar en mexico tu libro?
netosotelo
No sé si se puede encontrar el libro en las librerías. Usted tendría que pedir a la tienda. Usted los puede comprar en mi sitio web, gourmetpapermache.com/about-my-books/, a pesar de que están escritos en Inglés solamente.

Dan
I wonder what was on those newspapers...
Do you sell these works of art? They're incredible!!

Crafting This
Hello Crafting This. Those are fun monsters. Not sure if it's right for me. But thanks for the suggestion.
Dan
Dan
I want to make one but I don't know any of these product except for the paint
thats a wyvern easy mistake for a dragon but anyways this was amazing hope yo do more of these amazing crafts!
Thank you! However, not a mistake. It is a wyvern, which is a type of dragon, one without the fore legs. Take care
Wow, amazing how you did this for cancer. You are an great artist and I love ur dragons :)

Hi Dan , I am amazed by your work, can you tell me what is the material you use for the wings? Seems like fabric, don't know. And the teeth? biscuit?
+Bruna Gasparini Sorry its not Dan, but I heard that the teeth is made from fimo clay I think
yeah,what matirial did u use for the teeth,horns +claws
+Mavis beckitt
That is Fimo, a polymer clay.
Hello Dan. Would you ever do a video on basic tips on how to paper mache like you? Because I love doing it but it just turns out wrong. I've had so much practice by other people on UA-cam, but yours seems to be there best out of everyone else's.
There is so much I would love to ask about how you do this kind of stuff but I wouldn't want to steal your ideas.
MrsTezOG
Hello MrsTezOg. I try to make my techniques available. Between my blog, where I show many projects being made, step-by-step, and my videos and my how-to books (and my mask tutorials on UA-cam) I think I've put it all out there. But I think mostly it's just practice. I'm just very practiced. Thanks for the note.
Dan
