I'm so sorry that the first few hundred viewers had to watch ads! I purchased the rights to this music TODAY. I even filled out a section during the purchase about the video and my channel that was supposed to prevent a copyright challenge. No more purchases from that company! I hate ads. I've never monetized for that reason. That UA-cam puts ads on videos before notifying the creators is outrageous and needs to be stopped. That's my rant. Thanks for watching.
GourmetPaperMache standing for your ideals are good and all. Mr we have been watching adds our whole life, an other 3 sec for this wonderful video wouldn't make me feel worse, on the contrary i would be happy if you got something out of it. One of the best dragons!
Thank you Daniel! Yes, it took a while. So glad you approve of this one. I know I left the color scheme behind. I really wanted to build in some fire. Take care
That's very nice of you to say. I have had a few comments on Facebook from people who don't like the colors I added. But then I also got a very nice compliment from the creator of Alduin, Jonah Lobe, which was very nice as well.
I have followed Dan for a long time now and have always been so grateful to see Dan at work , he is in my mind a master in his own right, long may his art continue absolutely brilliant.Rob UK
What a nice note Rob! I really appreciate your support. It makes me happy to know that you still enjoy these even though many are very similar. I promise something a little different next video. Take care Dan
I absolutely love how the subject matter is almost always the same and that somehow you are consistently able to make each piece unique and individualized. At the start of each video, I wonder how you will make it different from the last dragon, and you never fail to deliver. Thank you for taking the time to share your work.
That's very nice of you to say! Thank you! Well, for what it's worth, the next video will be very different. No trophy just fun. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. Take care
Okay Dan, You have finally convinced me to yield and get your book. I want to learn how to do this the right way. I hope I can do you justice. I love every dragon you have ever made and have always been jealous of your supreme talents in making these. You are a master at making these amazing dragons. I will always be your fan and follower. I can't wait for the book to show up I will be showing it off.
That is some serious evolution from your early dragons right there and I just salute you for such amazing next-level creation right there, especially seeing how the lighting (when it comes to wires) looks pretty messed up until it's incorporated into the dragon itself. Respect!
Wow, you are right! But I worked very hard to keep it under control because I didn't want my cats getting it on them. So I cleaned obsessively with each application. I think I pretty much got it all. Thanks!
Another awesome job Dan ! What I really like ,other than the fantastic finished product, is the fact that you constantly change the method in which you construct each individual dragon !
I've watched all your videos, some quite a few times and i love them , but i am absolutely inspired by how you just keep getting better and better. Awesome work sir, a pleasure to watch.
Your artistic innovation is something to be admired. I really like how you added the metallic accents onto a fiery scale, all the while being added to a contrasting, gargoyle-grey skin. All these little details really highlight the LEDs and make it seem as if a ball of fire is erupting from within the dragon’s chest. Truly remarkable!
Thank you as always! I must admit getting severely obsessed with the lights on this one so much that it left the actual coloration of Alduin behind. But that happens once in a while. Take care Dan
Thank you Phillip! Always nice to here from you! I never in the world thought I would be using glitter on anything. It's bad for the environment. But I really needed something to help project those little led lights out from under the scales. After much experimenting glitter (and some orange and yellow paint, not found on Alduin) was the only solution. It had to be done. Very glad you like it! Take care Dan
So awesome! He looks so fancy with all the glitter! I feel so inspired everytime, I really want to make my own dragon trophy some day!! Thanks so much for sharing!
So glad you like these! I know it's been a while since I've been able to put a video out. But I'm currently making one and will have a video soon. Take care
Thanks Slugstoppa! So nice to hear from you! You have been watching these for many years! Yes, this one was very time consuming. It just took a while to get done. Hope all is well.
You are very kind. I'm happy to answer questions. Also, I am currently showing the build, step by step, of an "Ice Dragon" on my Facebook Page if you are interested. My page is called Gourmet Paper Mache -Dan Reeder.
wow! i just found your videos and honestly...i've never seen anything like this done before! i love all of your dragons! they are some of the most beautiful creations i've ever seen. definitely binge-watching all of your videos today. keep up the awesome work, man.
Thank you Cernunnas! Yes, the glitter is a little overboard. I was really trying to project the little led light forward. The glitter worked best. This was indeed a very labor intensive project. But I don't mind the work.

Dude that’s amazing! I’ve seen a lot of your work at school when we were doing paper mache and you were my favourite artist out of the people that the teacher showed us. My teacher was really surprised when I told her I got a reply from you on one of you other videos haha. And a creation from Skyrim! Always thought it would be cool lol. Great work as always dude. Tanner Ps this is my new favourite dragon you’ve made.
Hey, nice dragon like always ^^. Last month i had my final Art-project at school and i used you as a reference for my work. Thank you for inspiring me to use papermache, i had a lot of fun to do this work. Im sorry for my bad english ^^ Greetings from Germany

No problem at all
It is okay don't be shy, by the way I am from Philippines
GourmetPaperMache , you should use music provided by UA-cam. They have a nice selection of music - all types.
Hmmm. I'll check that out. Thanks!
An upload from you? And a creation from skyrim? What a nice way to end the day :D
Thanks! What a nice thing to say! I had countless requests for Alduin. Had to give it a try.
After all these years, you finally finished the main storyline. I can't blame you, those side quests... there are so many of them
Thank you Daniel! Yes, it took a while. So glad you approve of this one. I know I left the color scheme behind. I really wanted to build in some fire. Take care
I actually prefer this over the original. The firstborn of Akatosh really benefits from the added fiery colours.
Keep up the good work.
That's very nice of you to say. I have had a few comments on Facebook from people who don't like the colors I added. But then I also got a very nice compliment from the creator of Alduin, Jonah Lobe, which was very nice as well.
Obviously this begs the question, you gonna do Paarthurnax?
Soooo many dragons to do! Maybe sometime. Thanks!
hevifsy

So impressed with all the small detail. The size of the finished art work is awesome. No little piggy banks for this guy.
Thank you Kala!

I'm very flattered. I think you will enjoy this medium! You will make something you love, I guarantee it.
Dan, you're such an amazing artist! I'm so glad you made another video. Watching you make these sculptures really makes my day!
Thanks as always Anthony! I'm very flattered.
Amazing! Love how you lighted this guy up. I need to try that. Again I am in awe of your dragon mastery. Thank you for another epic video.
Thanks Raymond! Glad you like this one.
That is some serious evolution from your early dragons right there and I just salute you for such amazing next-level creation right there, especially seeing how the lighting (when it comes to wires) looks pretty messed up until it's incorporated into the dragon itself.
Respect!
Thank you very much! Yes, I ended up with lots of loose wires on this one! But they worked, so I'm happy. Take care
Beautiful. Alduin is a cool dragon to do. Loved the added sparkle and lights!
Thank you! I spent a lot of time experimenting with ways to get the lights right. Glad you like it!
Just found your video. Absolutely stunning-beautiful work. Just to watch you work (even in time lapse) is a treat. Thank you!
Very glad you like the work! Thanks!
This my favorite so far. MAJESTIC
Thank you Josso! I'm glad you like this one!
Mesmerising watching you make your dragons, you make it seem so simple, Alduin is stunning.
Thank you Chrissy! That is very nice of you to say.
You always know how to brighten my days with one of your awesome creations, just love them
Hey NogoodNikki! It's always nice to hear from you! You make my day! Thank you as always!
I can only imagine how much glitter you will be finding all over the shop for a while. Beautiful work.
Hey Brian. Thank you very much! Each project seems to dictate something different. Glad you like this one. Take care

Your video proves that paper mache can be a very accurate form of sculpture! Great work!
That's a very nice thing to say! Thank you!
Your artistic innovation is something to be admired.
I really like how you added the metallic accents onto a fiery scale, all the while being added to a contrasting, gargoyle-grey skin.

Truly remarkable!
That's exactly the effect I was trying to get with the lights . So glad you like it! Much appreciated!

Sorry just seeing your comment. I hope you are enjoying yourself! I'm happy to answer any questions. Have fun!
Another amazing bit of work! Love how you've been incorporating LEDs into your sculptures! Keep up the inspiring work!
Thank you as always! I must admit getting severely obsessed with the lights on this one so much that it left the actual coloration of Alduin behind. But that happens once in a while. Take care
Dan
Genial, crei que habia dejado youtube por un tiempo, menos mal que vuelve de nuevo con uno de sus exelentes trabajos!

Your work is beyond incredible
What a nice comment! Thank you so much!
You, sir have done the impossible; you have made glitter cool. Impressive as always.
Thank you Phillip! Always nice to here from you! I never in the world thought I would be using glitter on anything. It's bad for the environment. Dan
My favorite part off all the videos is. When the paint comes off the eyes.
That's my favorite part too. I always enjoy doing that. It seems to come alive. Thank you!
Your work keeps going to greater heights!
Thank you so much!
Incredible work. Excellent as always.

Thank you very much! Yes, I have little "helpers" around.
beautiful your new dragon, I remained taped from beginning to end.
Thank you Kelly. I really appreciate the nice comment!
Ever thought of doing something from Monster Hunter? I bet a paper mache Deviljho head would look beyond badass.
Yes, there are a lot of great projects in Monster Hunter. Maybe sometime. Thank you for the suggestion.
is good to see your work again! thank you for share!
Thank you Alexsandro. This project took a very long time to make.
Amazing work as usual, Dan. Wow! Glitter, huh? Who would have thought! It must have taken soooo much effort and time.... keep it up!
Thank you Cernunnas! Yes, the glitter is a little overboard. I was really trying to project the little led light forward. The glitter worked best. This was indeed a very labor intensive project. But I don't mind the work.
That's so incredibly awesome!
Thank you Victor!
Ya extrañaba tu trabajo.
Gracias. ¡Estoy feliz de que te guste el trabajo!
I missed your videos nice to see a new one. ☺
Some projects just take a lot longer than others. Thank you for your patience!
Always amazing work. Congratulations
This is so gorgeous and inspiring! (And I also love the cat footage so much, haha. :-) )
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this. Yes, little Maisie was constantly underfoot.
Astounding work!
I have been following you for awhile now. Love the new website, sorry about the old website.
This is a stunning creation.
I bought your Monster book, and, for the next phase of my artistic life, I will be embarking on creating paper mache critters, etc.
Not sure I am up to doing a lighting project, though.
And, any man who loves cats, cannot be all bad...lol
Thank you very much Darlene! You sound a lot like me! I retired from teaching (after 40 years) to just do my art and play with the cats. Perfect. Good luck to you on your next phase.
P.S. Yes, I'm not all that bad...maybe just a little. :-)
I can't help sighing at the time when you see your old hair. Wish you good health!
I try to edit out my "old hair". Guess I missed some. I am old, but healthy. Thanks for the concern.
I just lamented the passing of time. Can't give you the time of your youth to create a dream
We all lament the passing of time. But I have realized my dream. I have been very successful with my careeer and my art. I'm completely happy with my age.
yep.may god bless you
I love your "old hair" 😂😂😂
Another awesome dragon I am going to have to get brave and try to make one by the end of this summer problem is choosing which one to try and make.
The thing is you don't have to choose. You follow the method and watch it evolve. That way there is not the disappointment that can come with a preconceived idea and what you get is something unique. Give it a try. You will love it.
I love your work!! Amazing!
Thank you Erika!
Outstanding work
Thank you!
Amazing work as always! Love to see you make a predator head ( as in the movie ‘predator’ )
Thank you Grant! I never made Predator because my friend (Todd Masters) made the first one (for the original movie) and I certainly couildn't compete!
Wonderful work as always Dan, i love your dragons
Thank you as always Heather!
A dragon? No no, the cat is the important thing here.
Totally. I'll let her know that you appreciate her! But she will just want a treat.
This dragon reminds of Burning Godzilla, because of how he glows orange kinda like how Godzilla’s burning from the inside out. Very cool dragon!
Thank you! Glad you like this one!
Super cool man! Great work!
Thank you very much Leeloo!
Tanner
Ps this is my new favourite dragon you’ve made.
Thanks for the nice comment! I'm glad you like this piece. Hope your teacher let you make something out of paper mache. Take care.
i love your work! it's amazing!!!
Thank you Rita! I really appreciate the comment!
Absolutely amazing 😍
Thank you Danielle! That is very nice of you to say.
Haha! The cats so adorable! I know that’s not what the videos about but I just had to say it
That's so awesome!
Great job!
Thank you so much! I 'm very flattered.
you are seriously inspiring me man, going to try and start working on my own dragon soon
Great job! Don’t worry about rushing or anything, what other people says. Quality over quantity.
I totally agree! Some projects just take longer than others! Thank you!
beautiful!
You are a master of paper mache!!! 😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You are a very kind person. Thank you Riana!!
Fantabulous!
