Is Tai Lung the Greatest Villain of All Time?

Despite being a snow leopard, Kung Fu Panda's Tai Lung is one of the most human animated characters of all time. In this short video essay I'll try to explain what makes Dreamworks most iconic villain so special.

Excellent analysis. Tai Lung's power and rage made him truly terrifying, easily the best villain of the entire trilogy. Yet also the most relatable, as you said. Shifu never did right by him. Even after he got sent to prison, Shifu could have visited him I suppose. But destroying the valley and attacking innocent civilians was unforgivable and he probably thought that Tai Lung was too far gone by that point. Still, prison definitely didn't help at all. It only made him even more bitter and angry. And Tai Lung felt like the sort of villain who could have redeemed himself if only Shifu got through to him before the events of the movie. Interesting to think about what could have been.
