Really good advertising for your excavator work. He who drives is extremely good with the rototilt. It is unbelievably fun to see your job doing these great jobs. This is the world's best excavator channel. Extra fun that you are also from Sweden. It is obvious that in the Nordic countries that drive rototilt we are far ahead of other parts of the world. I myself am looking to get an excavator running again.

Rounded or natural yard gravel is sooo aggravating! It takes 10 years for it to settle if you want to safely ride a two wheeler or a wheel barrow on it. Don't even mention how to clear snow on it without spreading the stone! But "someone else near me" decided to have 50 tons of it in our driveway because it's so beautiful! LOL [I can tell you what i do in winter some other time! :D]
Good thing to have this thick steel sheet edges around garden beds. I've use even higher ones lower in ground to get heat in the soil faster in spring. Makes one climate zone higher!

Of course weeds will grow in the gravel, the word is maintenance. Vinegar is as useless as fabric. Either use residual herbicides or salt the Hell out of it, either way maintenance

I have this same excavator and have been looking to get the rototilt device. (Thanks to your videos actually)
My question to you is, how are you pulling perfect grade each pass? I just can't imagine this is fully manual. Could you point me to the system you use to accomplish such amazing results?
If you are grading manually, my mind is blown and bravo to you sir. I can't wait to become 1/10 your skill so I can produce amazing results as well.

All grading is done manually.
I have the rpm set on about 50%, the machine does not get as nervous and jerky.
Good support for the forearms is also a must.
We have modified and raised the armrests about 5cm, before that I got very sore neck and shoulders.

So, I thought at first the old woman was just the "homeowner who always happens to be in the way", especially when she walked in front of the excavator and stood next to the dump truck tire! Then I saw her "helping" spread the gravel, the way it used to be spread before someone could use an excavator like an artist or a baker icing a cake!. By then, though, I realized that she is probably the owner's wife or Mother and I should just shut up!
Beautiful driveway and garage...nice place to park and work on the vehicles.
