Hi Tony, Wow what a lovely message. I reckon it took me 200 hours to edit more than 2,500 videos and photos. Your thoughtful message makes it all worthwhile
Well done, very inspirational and calm. We started 3 days ahead of you and then were a bit faster and longer, but the sentiment was exactly the same. We will do it again this year starting on May 6. Thank you for putting together that video.
Amazing! Best Camino video ever! We started our second Camino about a week behind you. It was so beautiful in the Spring.I’ve been thinking about 2025;your video really made the Camino start calling me again! Thank You.
Thank you Mike for bringing back memories! I can almost remember every corner of the path. You are right, I also think a lot of the people I met on the camino in 2018, and you were also on my path. I know that this wil never be the same if I walked it again. Every journey has his own story. I think if you start the camino, you start it for life, cause the Camino has no ends. Your path is forever engraved in your heart. Seeing your beautiful video feels like a walk home again. Thank you Mike, and God bless!
I started walking on May 3rd and it was a perfect day. I stayed in Orisson that night. The next day, May 4 crossing the Pyrenees was 45 mph winds and rain, Light rain in the morning on May 5th from Zubiri to Pamplona. The rest of the trip to Santiago was dry and warm. We arrived on June 6th,. I have sent your video to my 3 other Camino family members and It brought tears to all of our eyes as we loved our experience, as no doubt you did also. Your video is the best that I have watched. I did the walk at 76, so my guess is that our experience was similarly rewarding to your own, I have done the Portuguese Coastal walk, September of 2023, and God willing will be back again on another Camino in the future.
Thank you for your beautiful message. 76 - you are my hero. I am planning to walk my third Camino in 2025 - the Camino Del Norte - you have inspired me. Que Dios te bendiga ❤
I have walked 10+ Caminos over the past few years and spent many hours watching UA-cam videos. This is absolutely the best representation of this pilgrimage with stunning videography and beautiful photos. You even captured the Cuckoo birds!. Thank you for sharing this excellent, wonderful adventure. It’s a terrific watch for those who have walked, are planning to walk or are not able to walk. Buen Camino 😊❤️🥾
@@Maryann110 Thank you so much for your kind comment. I am just an old man with a love of the Camino and Spain (I live in Segovia). Precioso vídeo. He hecho ese Camino, y viendo esas imágenes, he tomado la decisión de volver en los mismos meses que el documental. Enhorabuena. ❤❤. Lo he vuelto a ver y sencillamente sublime. Tienes una gran sensibilidad.
Beautifully filmed, and I love the sound track too. I also started from St. Jean this past April 27, so of course I had to follow your whole Camino! And in a photo from your 5th day I recognized a woman I had a deep connection with in my first albergue in the Pyrenees! What a great surprise. We never forget those people, do we. Thanks so much for recording your Camino and sharing it with all of us.
Your video has a timeless quality and the sounds of nature give great moments of solitude. The atmosphere connects you to the beauty of the places and in a way makes a person feel so small in comparison to the beauty that surrounds you. Plus the people, the pets and the animals you encountered along the way made this journey more memorable. Great work and thanks for sharing this beautiful journey and the amazing nature of El Camino.
