@@vroiderantas i don't think that's true. Ayre mentions to 621 at one point that she found an old archive called "NEST" that was a mercenary support network and she hacks it to give 621 access. This would put AC6 in the same lore as Nexus?
It's a shame the mission objective complexity got toned down so much compared to 3 and SL because otherwise the control improvements make this game feel great to play compared to the PS2 titles that came before. It would've been nice to see some of the missions from SL especially playable with the controls of Nexus/LR.
I understand that and I have an idea for armored core six like they should have a mode like Gundam operation 2 which lets you play in on the stay ground or in space. With armored core six they should give you an option to fight on the ground or fly.
Making a build with hover legs and strong booster+generator made infinite flight mode 🤣 But yeah I agree I didn't like AC4 cuz it seemed too much like gundam
In fairness they did like 11 games where ACs were heavy and somewhat difficult to pilot. I think it was a nice change to have a few games where ACs could fly better and have much higher mobility. I'm a fan of the classic AC gameplay, but I'm also a big fan of For Answer's flashier, faster gameplay. Both are really fun.
Great video I'm currently replaying it for like the 50th time...I love the PS2 era AC games with Last Raven and AC3 being my favorite ones but it's extremely close with all of them except Nine Breaker...It's interesting seeing someone else playing this and LoL machine guns will always be broken even with a mag reload (since most enemies will die within that mag clip) but yeah also the double shot sniper is my left arm weapon as well...Which AC game is your fav?

i know that this video is old and dont really expect a response, but what emulator did you use for this? im using PCSX2 but cant seem to get past giving my save a name, it just sits black screened with 0fps after i hit confirm
If you're using hardware mode in an old version of PCSX2, like 1.6, try enabling Preload Frame Data in advanced settings & hacks, through plugin settings. The newer versions of PCSX2 should not have any trouble running Nexus or Last Raven. It is a very demanding game if you're bumping the internal resolution up.
i have tried that, but im on 1.7.5, it usually works till i name the save then it just black screens tried to wait it out but that was 4 hours ago also thank you for responding! twas a pleasant surprise
Yeah, one of the things I dislike about PCSX2 is the hoop jumping you sometimes have to do to get a game to work right. All I can really suggest is trying 1.6 or software mode if the newer versions aren’t doing it. I did load the game up in version 1.7.5 just now and it works fine in hardware mode but I really couldn’t tell you why. It could be your computer specs.
Great run Vid my dude. I finally got my hands on my PC. Been playing the absolute shit out of my PS2 games on pcsx2. I just finished my first run on this game and now I’m cleaning up any missions/parts I missed before I hop over on Revolution. Man This game seems easier to me than Last Raven now that I’ve played it, is that the case or is it just me?
It's the result of technical issues with the emulator used for which there are no fixes. What you're seeing is what the game mostly looks like running on an actual PS2 and the PS2 is over 20 years old.
@@Donut833 it doesn't play the same as those either 😔 and the presentation looks a lot less inviting when you're in the garage. But it's still decent. Disc 2 is special!

Hey, just to clarify in case you didn't know: AC 3 and its sequels have a separate continuity from AC's 1 and 2

I liked the days when ACs don’t fly forever like gundams but stay somewhat grounded. I liked managing my AC’s weight and energy limitations.
