    So wonderful! This channel is my comfort show🤍 it became that, during Covid♥Thanks for mentioning single parents, that’s me, divorced, grappling with my special needs kiddo’s epilepsy diagnosis solo this year 💜Love the discussions about social media (so hard for me) and adapting to what works for your life. Excited to try a variation of Charlotte’s schedule! I’m a yoga teacher, and fascinated by how some of the scheduling , such as eating heavier meals earlier, align with Ayurveda, and how Charlotte prioritized mindfulness, relaxation, and nature. Thank you both!

    Amen to the night liking the news but it fueled prayer time. I am listening to the part about reading at night and the lady's phone being put away. I will be looking at t the schedule. I will be listening to this episode again. Thank you

    I love the idea of this but I’m so burnt out I feel like it’s impossible! 4 kids in 5 years (oldest is 10 now) and doing it just hubby and I without much help/support. It would be lovely to get out of survival mode!

      Hi! If doing this all at once sounds overwhelming, perhaps adding in one new thing at a time and practicing that for awhile similar to the way we work on habits would be a more feasible way to make these changes? For example, starting with implementing an afternoon tea time and once that feels good and is well established adding a second element into your day. You probably noticed that Richele did this when she had much older children, so was at a very different stage of life than you are currently! So it may look different for you, however be encouraged you can still incorporate some of these principles into your day if you choose to do so! It may also help to look at the schedule mapped out on paper to see which elements may work for you to incorporate into your day if you choose to do so. Here is an article that has the schedule written out:

      Thanks for joining us! It is so easy to pass a lot of time on our phones these days, it is right there all the time unless we intentionally set it aside!

    Love to know how entrepreneurial and independent your children are. It struck me as maybe a bit odd as a college student would be asking their parents for input on their homework. I was a very independent child, not in a healthy way all of the time, growing up. But it would never have dawned on me to ask one of my parents to give me input on my college Work. That’s what the professors were for in my mind. It’s just a matter of curiosity. I did not have children so ask from merely an observer standpoint. I am loving this channel. I plan to share it gently with nieces and nephews with children.

      I'm not sure what I even said about their asking for input. Both my boys left home at 18 - the younger worked at a flower farm in Montana and the eldest was a C-d graduate, who wasn't able to pursue his planned gap year of 6 months in Italy and 6 months in Russia to perfect his foreign language skills, so he chose to work and rent a house with friends rather than attend college online.
      With the high cost of living, they both decided to return home to attend college full-time. Perhaps they were so used to lots of conversation with me during their home school years and me asking as their "teacher" that it was natural for them to discuss papers and assignments with me. When I went to university, I lived on-campus and don't recall ever discussing my assignments with my parents.

    I heard you say Charlotte was chronically I’ll. What was she I’ll with?

    • @richelebaburina7501
      @richelebaburina7501 6 місяців тому +2

      I know she suffered from chronic pain and was basically chair/sofa bound. Her nature walks became rides as she went in a simple horse-drawn carriage with Barrow her driver. She no longer traveled to conferences due to this, though those that visited her said the pain never showed on her face.
