I do not support the “Black Life’s Matter” but I understand what the term means for Black people. I am White and proud of my heritage but I think there’s a lot of white people that seriously really need to understand that the term Black Life’s Matter doesn’t mean ONLY Black Lives Matter. It is just a statement to all of the innocent killings of men, women, children, the institutionalised racism, the injustice within the justice system, the blatant racism that’s been going on for years towards Black people in the UK and all over the world that generally does not happen to others this treatment goes back to slavery and has been going on for over 500 years and quite rightly so people are tired of it. So with that in mind when the first response to someone saying BLM is no all lives matter I can see why people can get rubbed up the wrong way.
The child probably just doesn’t understand all of the history and that’s not her fault. she’s not a racist.

I’ve often wondered what the initial spark or action is that started “racism “ and why? Was it because of someone being so scared of adapting and learning from someone else or what? U can learn a lot from anyone. Not just someone smarter, or at a higher living scale or higher intelligence. Literally anyone. What makes people not want to learn something they aren’t aware of? I want to learn as much as possible.
It started with exploitation by the elites. You have to remember that most people in this country were the peasant class and considered serfs to the landowners so we were also enslaved by the same system who took slaves from other countries. But racism is just a form of ignorance and lack of compassion for others. We have no reason to dislike somebody because of a difference in skin colour, culture or religion. But sadly all these things have been used by the institutions of religion and government to turn ourselves against others. A divided and conquered people are easier to control than a world where we all get along and see that it's the 1% who are the real enemies of humanity.

But people of colour in particular black people have had to deal with incredible inequality from from schools, police, courts, hospitals, employment, people, etc. Black lives have not mattered for too long, therefore although all lives including those of my white brothers and sisters matter, its black people who are suffering the most. I'm from Liverpool I'm mixed race but look more white than black and iv grown up all over the city, L9 to L8 L13toL18 most people are racist in Liverpool facts Toxteth and a tiny bit of Wavertree only places that's not as bad, but from all ages it's passed down like it's the norm most of North England is the same tbh
