      RC Crazy
We thought we had the best toys in the world back then ,
We would spin in circles with a plane on strings , we hot used to it fast ..lol..
      Good memories 👍.
My neighbor had a dune buggy , it would get bursts of speed and be gone ...
Now you can fly over another neighborhood with remote control ..

I have an old dog like Popeye called Charlie. When he was younger he caught my helicopter and ran off with it. Goodbye helicopter ha,ha, he's 18 years old and still gets up to no good . Steals bones from the Rottweilers and runs through the cat flap so they can't catch him. $20 is a bargain. Great video guys.

You two have an advantage over most RC channels: there's two of you. When that's the case, the camera operator can ZOOM in on the aircraft. Most youtubers record in 1080p or 4k and the picture looks nice but the aircraft look like gnats most of the time. Get a digital camera with a ZOOM button and use that thing. It'll probably take some practice but it helps because we all want to see how well these things fly.

The S107 is a remote control LEGEND.
This thing DEFINES the infrared coaxial micro-helicopter.
It's not the fastest, it's not the most powerful, it can't carry an action camera, and it doesn't even work outdoors. (It won't work at all in sunlight, as it's not receiving the IR data frames.)
But it's good, cheap, quick, easy, and fun.
And it's small and light enough that you won't break anything when you inevitably crash it while learning how to fly.
I learned to fly helis on one.
(Also search "Syma S107 Battle Drill" here on UA-cam.)

You guys are the best! Changes for 2019?? Maybe promoting kids and the hobby? Like the giving tree year around. At 62 I have realized the hobby world for kids is dwindling. Hobby Lobby is a joke. If it wasn't for you and channels on UA-cam kids just game sit on the internet. That's sad. I'm in to start any program you or anyone can come up with to get kids and Hobbys up and running. Years ago we flew control line, rockets and all that. Those were some of the best years. I even later learned to fly in real life. Nate, Abby I would be committed to helping you to promote All kids rich or poor to enjoy this hobby if they choose. So are you in??

  • @scottmarshall6766

That model has been around for about 5 years now. A few years ago I gave them to everyone for Christmas. They don't do well outdoors because of the IR, as you note. Eventually the lipo dies, they can be replaced cheap enough if you have soldering skills. Bangood has the batteries, as do several vendors on ebay.
    I like the new format!

Anthony E. Idealistic Woodworks I feel for you. I just had my second shoulder surgery. Left now right. Bones bending cutting tendons. I understand people have various financial priorities, I'm retired & on Medicare . I'm just making a statement that 1or two dollars a month is doable. I have been a patron for awhile now. I just set the amount, and it gets withdrawn each month, I get an email when they do. I'm just disappointed that out of 168 thousand subscriber's there are only 12 donors. While you may not be able to now hopefully in the future you can. It's the one's who benefit from the saylors and can but don't donate that disappoint. Good luck on your surgery and rehabilitation. They really make you stretch to keep it limber.😥😥.

I havent had one of those. I do have a Blade Helicopter that was given to me as part of a package with an Apprentice. The local College was offering a class introduction to flight that had as part of the cost a voucher for an Apprentice and a Blade helicopter. Now Its just a drone( I think) most guys sold them after the class to recoop some of their money from the class. I bought 3 Apprentice that year and was given two Blade helicopters. I have one left. I still fly it once in a while because I cannot sell it . Fine times RC is.

I had a couple of these years ago, me and my son flew them all over the house. They were always super controllable unlike a lot of the other ones from toy stores that just have a mind of their own. My only slight complaint is the built in battery, you don’t get much fly time. If they’d have made a version with a small removable battery that would have been great.
Also I think there are clones of the Syma so you gotta be careful you get a legit one when ordering from amazon

RCSaylors, please reply, I just purchased the Blade 70s after watching your videos on it. It’s my FIRST helicopter. I haven’t been making much progress, I can’t tell if it’s the lack of actual flying space or if I just really stink. Would you recommend THIS helicopter over the Blade 70s for a beginner? Would you say it’s MUCH easier to fly over the 70s? I went with the 70s because of the looks. I hate the look of the fly bar and the second set of rotor blades, but at this point I would be happy to fly anything. Thanks! Love your channel!

This was one of my first rc helis besides the tiny single rotor ones by venom and horizon had the space walker wich was an astronaught with a helicopter backpack and even air hogs has a foam one many years ago like 4 years ago, my stepdad even got a red one exactly the same as this one and he liked it alot it was really fun. I also had a nice one from brookstone years ago, they are not as nice as the eflite ones they have now like the blade series but this is what started alot of people into the small helicopters

I remember having a ir Heli that I got for 10$ (Canadian) which turned out to be really good and flew pretty similar to that Heli (pretty sure) only stopped because charging port broke 😅 it also had same set up as the heli. I miss that Heli. Anyways good video a always saylors. I like the new setup. It not sure about the thumbnail today though. Also should stop editting or making this comment even longer 😅🤗😘

i have the exact same one as you i got it for my birthday but the bad thing abt it is you have to charge it for 40-50 min for it to just last like 6-7 min or maybe even 10 min EDIT: btw i only fly it inside because when i go outside its windy and the helicopter goes crazy and one time i went outside and used it and it went to the hieght of my roof and fell but good thing it fell on the grass

I bet the reason they stopped working early is because the battery only lasts a few minutes after about ten flights. My first heli was exactly like this, but in silver.

I came here for the planes - definitely my favorite (I have 5 or 6 models, two of which I bought because of you guys) - but I have stayed because I love your content, and I have even bought two toy drones as a result (though I fly a Mavic). Let's see more fixed wing when the weather gets better :). New format? I didn't really notice so it must be good :)

Which one do you consider is better between this one on your video and the newest syma drone helicopter 2019?
Can you made a video comparison between this one and the newest helicopter 2019 from syma too?

Amazon aggregates reviews of products from the same manufacturer. So it may not be that many for this particular one.

I want to learn to fly rc helicopters but don't want to get a tiny one that is mainly for indoors. Can you suggest a good beginner heli that isn't tiny but falls below the minimum weight so it doesn't have to be registered? Largest possible. I wanted a large heli like the Hercules, Colossus or the T-Series 55" heli but, the government wants to get involved. Thank you.
