Just received mine today. Don't forget that it comes with a landing pad like I did. When I was closing the lid on the box I noticed some plastic in the bottom of the box and wondered what it was. I pulled out the packing and there was the landing pad underneath.

This could be a great intro for people who are curious about helis. The die-hard heli folks will absolutely hate this one, but there is something magical about flying an RC helictopter. The downside has always been the expense and the pretty complex repairs that come with learning. This one is a low-risk intro to see if it's your thing. I have a love/hate relationship with helis. The love part is that there is no other flying experience quite like it. For those who haven't tried it...this one is a nice cheap way to experience it and see it it's your thing.

@@_namenloses_4593 you mean 3d as in stunt flying? I don't think it is. As I am a beginner pilot I only flew it yet in the conservative setting it came in, but it doesn't seem to have a ton of extra power.

see now I own a Blade 200SRX and my biggest gripe about it is its terrible to stay at a Hight its either up or down and you have to fight it all the time to keep it level so if they made a bigger version on the heli you testing for sure i would buy one

Nate you did far better than usual on the camera, but Abbey is still the pro. Abbey, your lack of nervousness on the sticks was clear in this video, you both did equally well flying this heli, which I think speaks well of the helicopter model and included technology! I have to agree with Abby as I generally don't get all that excited about helicopter models, especially with what I see the experts do with them, flying them in place, a few meters in front of them doing flips and tricks. FPV flying is what ultimately interests me, I feel like I need to gain some expertise flying los first, and being self taught it's a long process. People generally do not affix cameras to helicopters, with a few exceptions. Thank you both for the videos you are among my favorite channels, lately it's between you and Fitz Walker's "Hobbyview" though you are more prolific

Love this helicopter I own both the e119 and the e129 awesome choppers but the exposed plastic gear can be damaged in a crash let me show you a simple cheap fix to save you money it's easy take a light weight water bottle trim the neck off a make a piece to fit from the canopy to the landing gear and use transparent tape works perfectly no more stripping gears

BEFORE I BITE....Awesome find by the way and video is GREAT as always. I need to know about that Gear is it press fit? or is there a screw that hold it to main shaft? heck I am ready might just do it I have a fondness for these small birds kind of like Nate and stunt planes or Abby and ground vehicles. These 4 channel copters always hit big with me
i only fly fpv. all my planes and heli's are rigged with a camera on them. with that said, i wanted a really small heli to experiment with. i soldered a jst lead to the main +- on the board and used the heli battery to power both the heli and cam. it turns out that battery life (flying fpv) is still in the 15 minute range for me. anyhow, i range tested this toy heli to 350 meters and have been flying it fpv ever since. it is a rock solid fpv platform and i also regularly fly it in 8-9 mph winds. any of the cheap cams on ebay or amazon will do. thanks to nate and abby for all they do :)

If you have a fairly large room you can fly these indoors if it's windy outside.
the dip down is something all helicopters do going into forward flight. It's called(let me remember, going back to the 90s when I first began with them) translational lift. If you pitch it forward less, it won't dip down as much. And for who did better, mnn, coming from a rc heli guy, I would actually say Nate, because he had it more under control. He kept it pretty much in a small area, versus just keeping it in the air. But nice try on both your attempts..
You have it backwards. Translational lift is the phenomenon where a helicopter CLIMBS as you move from hover to forward flight: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Translational_lift
@@pheadland Lol, it's been over 20 years since I delved into the basic terminology(I must have mixed it up) . But.. All collective machines(at least the models) do this. I'm not too sure about the fixed pitch machines though. But I could have Sean that's what it was called.. hmm.. must be the old age..

Just ordered the one with the 3 batteries. I should be getting it in about a week and a half. I couldn't pass it up for just $47.99 and ships from the US. Looks like the US warehouse has only the single battery package now and only one left. You guys sold a lot of them from this review.

Also since you haven't choppered up for awhile you did 👍👍.If you mean control wise then Nate. So maybe you edged Nate out a bit since you were rusty.🤔 🤔😁😁. Overall ya both flew great. What are the biggest differences between the two?
The E119 is the non altitude hold version. Mush better and more capable.

Everything you guys have reviewed that came from Eachine have been very good products, at a good price point. I'm hoping Eachine comes out with a small edf jet, it well sell like hot cakes.....
Eachine are good products but I wish someone in the US carried them. Banggood orders from China and delivery time is months. I will never order anything from Banggood again.

@@scable-eq7bp I'm in FL too. I just gave up. I ordered the T28 plane Aug 31 and they siad Oct 22 would be shipped by. Oct 22 came and they changed it to Dec 15. I found the same plane by another mfg on Amazon, ordered it yesterday and am supposed to get it today. Did it cost more? Yes. If you don't mind the wait and just want the lowest price, then go Banggood. I'm not that patient. BTW Amazon doesn't have an exact equivalent of this helicopter.
@@scable-eq7bp You have an option of just HOW Long shipping will take (found out, like you did, it takes WEEKS to get the products from China)... Using Banggood Express, it takes around 3 weeks or less - to Arkansas (here in the middle of "Nowhere", that is!). You also have to "Option" of buying things from them, through their U.S. distributor (more $$, but worth it - if you want your "grubby little hands" on it - like I do, in 4 days to a WEEK...!) Haha! Hope this helps.

my very first helcopter which after listing to you self and one or two other i decided try mine in the back garden because quite a few said it will just hover at eye leave unfortunately mine did non of these thing and just disappeared over the roof top never to be seen again.

by the way, I have ordered it with 3 batteries in the left hand, I don't know what that means, but the option of 3 batteries in the right hand was exhausted, if anyone knows what it means I would really appreciate it, but I can imagine that it has the accelerator in the left hand and that it comes with 3 batteries, but I'm not sure
