It was Germany and Japan's fault. They were so intent on taking over as much of the globe and both so convinced they were superior to every other country they didn't care how many people had to die to achieve their fantasies. Once they had demonstrated their intentions, thank goodness the rest of the world eventually responded and did the hard work to save the world.
You are not understanding what really is at stake. The freedom you have to post a comment like this without consequences like being imprisoned, tortured, or outright killed is directly the result of sacrifices people made while fighting a war, in an effort to preserve that right. Not all wars are necessary, or even just. But some, being a participant in, is absolutely necessary to keep large numbers of people from being enslaved or killed.

That whole plane section seemed arcady and cringe af to be honest, it does more damage to the game experience than good. Also, I can't play single-player shooters like this anymore after playing HLL. It's all so easy and unrealistic, just an on-rails interactive movie.
I agree COD has been surpassed by games like HLL, Enlisted, ARMA, Squad, etc. It is literally what you said a scripted roleplay. It is cringy to watch this as the character would have been dead the second they stepped out at the beginning to cross the open snow for the house. Not to mention the blasts would stun, kill and maim with the scraps of wood and rubble. Another commenter also hit the head on the nail when they said German's would not attack like this and they're right. A curtain barrage with close armor and infantry support would of been real and would not have been able to stop it.

You would never make it. And the whole discussion right before that, "We have to move!" Why? They are literally in a defensive position about to be attacked but they want to charge across that field? Wtf? That's the killzone for both sides, wtf?
@@Nohotdrops There were isolated instances of Germans attacking like this it certainly was not common, Ive spoken with many WW2 Vets over the years The Germans rarely participated in frontal attacks on the Americans, charging them like Japanese Soldiers did on so many Islands in the Pacific, The Germans learned very quickly during the Invasion of The Netherlands, France, and Belgium , entire Companies of Paratroopers, and Infantry were wiped out in a matter of minutes, foolishly attacking fortified positions, on the First day of the invasion of Holland, an entire Company of German Paratroopers were wiped out to a man not one Paratrooper Survived, Why? Because they Rushed a Dutch Trench line with a Dozen Machine Guns, and that was that These were the very early days of the war,They had been told there would very little resistance, from the Dutch, they got that wrong didnt they ?

The US made tons of war material for Brittan and Russia. It included small arms used by those countries to include weapons produced under license like the Mosin, Ross rifle, and Lee Enfield. I don't recall British Enfields being carried by US forces in WWII. We did in WW1 kind off. We produced the Enfield 1917 or P14 which is American version of the Enfield, nut not quite the same thing.
The worst implementation of air combat! Where is the damage on the player's plane? Where is the realism of flights? What kind of turns with bombs on suspensions under the wing? The feeling that the dogfight was done on the example of riding a roller coaster. And someone else is playing this?

Why is a U.S. Soldier carrying a No.4 Lee Enfield Sniper rifle?
There were American issued lee enfield rifles, I happen to own one. Stamped with US markings. Fantastic rifle
