August will be relatively the same, it honestly felt hotter back during that heatwave in the 2010's. Working in this one wasn't so bad even though I was up in Olympia, made sure to keep the tools and material in some shade. My buddies little kid made an AC for his little fort out front, found some beat up igloo cooler and sawed a hole in the top and side with some pipes, threw ice in there and powered it with a PC fan at the top and his pops old drill batteries. Said he saw it on youtube and it worked well enough for him to spend all day in the middle of a 2 acre field in his makeshift fort lol.
@Southeastern777 no need to relocate in my lifetime unlike a lot of western states we have ample water supply , but that could change if this heat stays the norm in the future ,
That’s like saying - oh you got a foot of snow Florida? Deal with it when people have no way to keep their houses warm. People in the PNW are not equipped to deal with heat. We need to stop saying deal with it and instead maybe help each other during these drastic weather events. You are used to heat? Great, share tips not insults.
This is the beginning ; the beginning of human migration to cities below ground ; surface temperatures have increased to a point where hundreds have all ready died because of it , the only viable solution is to build a new world below ground where the roof of this new world is about 25 - 30 feet below the surface.

I was out delivering packages in Henderson Nevada a week and a half ago.... 118F at 4 PM, doors open, and no air conditioner
